If I could give this review negative stars I would, but I can't. Yesterday I decided to go get a cup of coffee and I invited two friends to this place. And the truth is that it was very uncomfortable because when I placed the order I asked for the cups of coffee in a mug, When he went to give me the order, he gave it to me as if it were a Starbucks takeout order in two cardboard cups. And I told the guy that I wanted the coffees in a mug. The guy got upset immediately and I had also ordered a cake. And he basically threw the cake on the table, where we were all shocked by his bad attitude. And he went to make us coffee. It really was a very bad experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Also, we could see how they cleaned the tables of the other people who were there. But they never cleaned our table or gave us any other kind of attention. I can really see or feel that suddenly the guy who was serving us is either racist with people from other countries, because we are Latinos. But it turns out that neither he or we are Americans. We are all foreigners because they are not from here in the United States either. So really, all those people who are thinking of visiting this place, I really recommend that you take into consideration that the people who serve here are very rude and there is also a preference for people from the Middle East in this place. So if you want to go for a coffee you can go to Sweet Paris which is very close to this place. It is nicer and also has...

Perfect spot for a relaxed Sunday morning coffee
Stopped by Fellini this morning for a leisurely cappuccino and was pleasantly surprised by this local gem. The modern, family-friendly atmosphere strikes the perfect balance - busy enough to feel lively but not so crowded that you can't have a conversation.
The cappuccino with almond milk was excellent, made with quality Lavazza beans that really shine through. You order at the counter and they bring your drink to the table, with staff that are genuinely friendly and attentive throughout your visit.
What I appreciated most was the chill, unhurried vibe - it's clearly a place where locals like to gather, which always speaks well of a spot. The space is clean and modern, though the hard surfaces throughout make it similar to most coffee shops in terms of noise level (probably not ideal for extended remote work sessions, but perfect for catching up with a friend).
I noticed they're known for their gelato and have gluten-free options available, which shows they cater to various tastes and dietary needs. The pricing felt fair for the quality you receive.
This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you hope to discover - nothing flashy, just consistently good coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for another relaxed morning coffee, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality drink without the rush of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt takes me an hour and a half to get here by public transit yet I do it pretty routinely. Partly for the spacious, well-lit interior. It's at the corner of the building, with large windows on two sides, and most of it has a high ceiling, so you've got two stories worth of windows. It's definitely got more natural light than any other cafe I've been to in Houston.
In addition, for when the weather's nice, there's a few tables worth of outdoor seating. If I'm not mistaken, these are on the west side of the building, so in the morning through the early afternoon you should be in the shade... right? Right now it's 3pm and the tables are still in the shade, though the edge of the shade is only about two yards away from them.
Besides the setting, the other reason I come is the espresso drinks. They're great. I usually get the cortado with a double-shot of espresso--bitter and not for everyone, but that's what I like, and not everyone can make it well. It's always good here.
Also, if you order orange juice they'll grind up some oranges for it. It's really good, right now at least, though this may depend on the season.
Service is always great in my experience. I've heard complaints about parking, despite the parking lot right in front of the building. There's also a parking garage a few minutes walk away, with free parking on the upper levels. But I take the bus...
