Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Houston

Thank you so much for an amazing experience! I hosted my daughters wedding shower the day before her wedding here and it was fantastic. This was perfect because everyone was coming from out of town for the wedding, including me! This was the first time I was meeting many of the grooms family members and bridal party. The bridal party enjoyed meeting here before the wedding as well. We brought the decorations, food and drinks and painting with a twist provided all the rest. They were so accommodating! Most of our guests arrived by plane for the event so they provided canvases that were 12X12 that could fit in carryon bags. We had time at the end for my daughter to open a few gifts. Our painting instructor Jonah and her assistant were superb! We laughed, painted, drank, made new friends and will remember this as a highlight from wedding week! On July 24th, we hosted an event for our work's employee club at Painting with a Twist Midtown. The stellar service we received was above and beyond from booking to leaving the studio!

Necia, the studio manager, was an ANGEL and such a pleasure when it came to questions and bookings. We had booked with a short-notice, so there was a shortage of artists, but she took the time to find an available artist from another studio!

Louis was our artist-instructor and he kept up the great service by combining humor and actual art skills, so all attendees left feeling like Van Gogh (or Picasso). My friend painted her bag during the session, and when she was displeased with the result, Louis offered to correct it for her with the left-over paint from the session!

Pay attention to your communications when booking. I originally requested a kids party for 1.5 hrs. When I received a response they advised the time I requested was not available, but provided one that was pretty close. They did not mention they changed the party type from the kids party to a regular private party. I did not realize I had reserved a regular private party until it was time to pay, which ended up costing $150 more. I accept responsibility for not confirming I had requested the kids party, and reading the fine print at the bottom of the lengthy email. The owner may need to be more detailed in the communication when offering a different type of party than what was originally requested.
