I want to take a moment to sincerely thank two incredible gentlemen at Jared Jewelry: Mr. Markus Tennon and Mr. Derek Huang.
I originally came in with a simple requestâjust to have a few links removed from my inexpensive Casio watches. From the moment I walked in, Markus treated me as if I were about to purchase a high-end timepiece. He immediately and graciously took care of my request with a level of professionalism and kindness that you rarely see these days.
While waiting, a beautiful watch caught my eye, and I was fortunate to have Mr. Huang assist me next. He greeted me with the exact same warm, welcoming demeanor, and his knowledge and patience made the experience all the more enjoyable.
Both men demonstrated exceptional customer service, deep knowledge of their products, and a genuine desire to ensure customer satisfaction. It was truly a breath of fresh air. Before leaving, they even encouraged me to support their St. Jude fundraiserâwhich of course, I was happy to do.
An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend asking for Markus or Derek the next time you visit. Wishing them both continued success!
Update â Second Visit: I returned to Jared today hoping to reconnect with either Markus or Derek, because their kindness on my last visit left such a lasting impression. Unfortunately, they were both offâbut thatâs when I met Cynthia, and let me tell you, it was a blessing in disguise.
I explained to Cynthia that I had come back specifically to give one of them a sale as a thank-you for how well they treated me. Cynthia smiled and said she completely understoodâand then graciously offered to help me without taking the sale credit. In the world of commission-based retail, that kind of humility and integrity is rare. It speaks volumes about the kind of people this Jared location attracts.
Cynthia was kind, patient, and deeply knowledgeable. We had a wonderful conversation, and she shared that sheâs been in the jewelry industry for over 40 years. Her passion, wisdom, and calm energy were refreshingâlike talking to a master of her craft who genuinely cares.
She introduced me to her favorite brand, FrĂ©dĂ©rique Constant, and explained how itâs built on love and traditional values. That stuck with me. I found myself admiring the FrĂ©dĂ©rique Constant Men's Classic Green Watch (FC-240GRS5B6) while she carefully resized my new silver Tissot PRX (T1374101103100)âpictured here.
Before I left, we connected over my personal art and mental health project, and the conversation turned emotional. It was no longer just about watches or jewelryâit was about people, purpose, and shared humanity. Cynthia gave me a hug before I left, and it truly meant a lot. I walked out with more than just a perfectly fitted watchâI walked out feeling seen.

The lady that let us in the store off the rip acted as if she was in a hurry.. I didnât catch her name but she had dark hair on her shoulders, thin build with a two piece black suit on with heels. She helped my husband with his order.. while she was doing so I asked her where I could I get my ring cleaned.. she replied âover there âlooking in the direction of the area where there was a sign to repair jewelry. I walked over.. no one was at the counter and the persons behind the glass never tried to get up and assist. When this lady finished with my husband.. she looked right over at me knowing I was standing and wanting to get my ring cleaned and she never attempted to assist and turned around and walked back in the opposite direction. I glanced at some rings while we were on our way out the store and here comes Mrs. Cynthia. Very sweet and professional.. she cleaned my rings and also added me to my husbandâs account for future purchases. I am recently married and today was our second purchase from Jared since my wedding in October 2020. I think it is absolutely ridiculous to have unprofessional and rude people working in retail that serves the customer. I gave this review three stars and ONLY because of my experience with Cynthia. My money and time are important and I if I ever decide to return or refer anyone in the area.. it will absolutely be to do business with Cynthia. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the merchandise which helped my daughter and her boyfriend to make the best decision for them.
