Wasn’t a fan. Got an herbal spa pedicure which was okay; my nail tech was not great at massage, etc. She was using her phone in one way or another throughout, even at one point taking what seemed to be a call. She was nice until the very end when what appeared to be a small piece of paraffin wax fell from who knows where (must’ve been my leg, because there was wax on the upper part of my leg later on despite it only being applied to my foot; it was rubbed all around with the hot towels.) When I pointed it out to her telling her I wasn’t sure what it was at the time, I was shocked when her attitude shifted and she said, “well, you put it there.” She didn’t want to fix the nail due to the likelihood of having to redo the nail, but tried anyway. It didn’t work and she had to redo it, bumping another nail in the process and having to redo it as well. Once she finished, I got up and walked the same path I did (7 feet from my chair to the drying station) and completely slipped on a huge puddle of water immediately next to my chair that was NOT there when I walked the first time. I fully fell next to another person receiving a service. Only then did moods seem to change and she was engaging again, another staff member made sure I wasn’t injured. I was originally told the massage, that was clearly listed on my service on their website, was not a thing, and then also that I needed to mention it beforehand because I was “supposed to select a length” - I think I was misunderstood at first because the service clearly says 5 minutes of neck massage included. No apology for the confusion when they finally agreed to it, and the girl giving me my service blamed another employee and said she’d just done her nails as part of the reason why she didn’t want to do it… So which was it? They didn’t know, or they wanted to stiff me because she had new nails done?
I tipped due to time in chair, but honestly as someone who has does various forms of service industry work INCLUDING doing all things needed to get my own nail tech license, a lot of the service was lacking or entirely not something one should be doing. Somehow one of the “fixed” toenails was still messed up.
For a $63 pedicure + tip, I shouldn’t get a service worse than what I get at my regular spot for $45. Per this experience, I wouldn’t plan to return.
Edit: came back to report that only 5 days have passed and the polish is chipping off, even though I’ve been wearing protective foot wear and walking on carpet the majority of the time since. This...

Read morePlease do not let the sponsored ad fool you, My visit to Le Bijou Nails and Spa left me utterly dismayed. It was a questionable experience from the very start. The manager's excessively friendly demeanor immediately set off alarm bells in my mind. I've encountered nail salons where such excessive niceness serves as a smokescreen for what follows – manipulation.
Prior to getting any service done, I inquired repeatedly about the cost, making sure there were no surprises later. My nail technician, Meyra, informed me that it would be around $65, which, as a college student, I found reasonable for quality work. I was fully prepared to pay this amount.
However, what transpired after the completion of my nails was nothing short of a financial shock. I approached the counter, and my nail tech explained the services and additional charges. Once she left, the manager scrutinized my nails, doubting the design and length, as if Meyra had deceived him. He then casually informed me that my total bill would be $97. I was beyond shocked by this sudden and unjustified leap from the initial estimate of $65.
To make matters worse, the manager provided a litany of excuses and convoluted justifications for this inexplicable price hike. It became evident that they were attempting to exploit young customers after the work had already been completed. Not to mention, as a new customer, I was entitled to a 10% discount, which they conveniently overlooked.
Adding insult to injury, the manager threatened to involve the authorities multiple times but refrained from doing so because he knew he was in the wrong. This attempt at intimidation only further tarnished my experience.
All in all, my first and last visit to Le Bijou Nails and Spa was a very disappointing ordeal. The subpar quality of my nails, the excessive costs, and the questionable tactics employed by the management have left me with no intention of ever returning. The experience was neither worth my time nor my money, and it certainly did not meet my expectations...
