My husband and I originally had paid for a sofa and loveseat back in early June. After waiting 9wks for delivery we were called and told we would not get our furniture until Jan 2021 because of Covid. We got a refund and started looking again. We went everywhere in search of something similar to what we had ordered back in June. Everywhere we went we were told that we would have to order and that we wouldn't get our furniture until Nov, Dec, or Jan. I was starting to get discouraged but decided to try Haverty's in Huntsville. My husband and I have never been to a Haverty's and didn't know what to expect. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Ronnie who was very friendly and ready help.I explained what we were looking for and he immediately took us to a beautiful reclining sofa and loveseat. It was exactly what we have been looking for and checked all our boxes. We even liked it more that the first set we had ordered. They have a warehouse in Atlanta and Ronnie called to see if that set was in stock. The loveseat was and could be delivered to our house within 2wks. The sofa was out of stock but could be ordered and delivered within 4 wks. We were thrilled because 2 and 4wks was the best delivery of any of the places we had been to previously. Ronnie called me 2 days after we ordered our furniture and told me he checked back with the warehouse and they had gotten our sofa back in stock and that we would get it in 2wks also. I was so excited! Ronnie kept track of everything and would call to let me know the delivery date and time as he found out. As promised we got our sofa and loveseat within 2 wks and delivered at the time they said they would. The delivery guys were also great! Our furniture set is beautiful and comfortable! Read morePurchased a couch for my self and one for my daughter and son in law. A tv concierge. A chair and an ottoman. A Kitchen table and chairs . And two customer made pillows to match my chair. This was a considerable purchase but I added the "protection " for good measure since I was spending a goodly sum of money. TV concierge is good. Table and chairs good. Couch already showing fabric wear. Chair was poorly finished. Still find an occasional stray thread as the fabric is not finished underneath only stapled on. I also purchased 2 occasional tables that leave an oxidized black dust everytime I wipe them off. My biggest disappointment besides the fact that when I called just a few months after purchase they only suggested to send a technician who could do nothing for my particular situation, is the fact that I am constantly picking up a hand fill of feathers from my pillows which cost 100. 00 a piece because these custom made down filled pillows are not lined.si lessons learned. I will never shop Havertys again. And promise to make sure no one invests in poorly made products from them as well. And the protection they offer is very limited and is not worth the price you pay. Read moreI ordered a couch from this location and I’m very excited to get it! However, the delivery keeps getting pushed out with no explanation. Additionally, I was in the store for over 30min before someone came to help me, but everyone else that entered had help nearly right away. They were all older and/or couples. It felt as though it was assumed that I could not afford the furniture and, therefore, didn’t need help as an early 30s single female. I made eye contact and even said hello a couple times to individuals working there and got nothing until an employee had to walk past me on their way to help a couple that had just entered. The couple turned down the help offer and the employee came back to me. Normally, if the store was busy I would understand - but it only had just a few customers at any given time. Maybe I’ve misinterpreted the situation, but it felt like there was a bias in the store and it didn’t make me feel that comfortable or welcome.
