Sam Houston Antique Mall — Attraction in Huntsville

My granddaughter & I loved shopping here so we went the Saturday after Thanksgiving I was purchasing 7 rail road ties that I found in an old wooden box in a booth close to the cashier so I put them up front when we were ready to check out 1st when we got to the cashier 3 employees working 1 stood there talking to another that was practicing wrapping things up correctly the one ringing things up just sat there punching buttons on her cell phone they didn’t make any hurry moves to wait on us when they did as the rail rode ties had no price tag on them I informed her there was a a piece of paper in the box stating rr ties $2 a piece the employee just standing around said where I said I can show you the booth is right there rudely she walked over with me started they just couldn’t take my word ok then the cashier still just took her time I received an email about my experience so I started all that happened NORMALLY I wouldn’t have done this but it was really upsetting & my charge seemed NOT CORRECT bcuz you never get a break down this morning I received an emailed from the owner explaining the charges rail rode ties $2.50 a pice WHAT REALLY NO I have tried emailing back but that email has NO REPLY email address So sad getting ripped off at booths owned...

Oh this place is great . 4 floors of antiques. I literally saw everything here. Except where the doors say employee only I'm sure they got more stuff. But like any business they do there research and some of the stuff is price for retail or if you search eBay they use same price as eBay. If you are a coin collector eBay is cheaper or other websites. But again antiques are a business and you don't have to buy here. I did purchase some stuff and I will he back. This place isn't vast on furniture which sets it apart from every antique store and mall. Most antique retailers sell furniture and hardly ever have anything else. It's one of the largest antique malls ever been to. The staff was so very kind and welcoming. The prices were the absolute best in the city.
