I recently discovered this theatre after looking for other options besides Regal Edwards because I've grown sick of being price gouged for movie tickets and concessions. I was surprised when comparing prices of how much more affordable Paramount is. At Regal Edwards for myself, my wife and our two girls for a matinee that's booked online all together with the admission, fees and taxes it was $53.54 at Edwards at Paramount that same matinee with the admission, taxes and fees was $28.00. Then I started to look at what full price tickets would cost. I looked at the new Deadpool movie and for a date night and for two tickets (non-matinee) all in I was looking at $38.96 that's not including popcorn or drinks or anything. The same two tickets for the new Deadpool movie were $16.00 at Paramount. I could even get two ice creams, a pretzel, a hotdog and cheese curds and be almost exactly what I would be paying at Regal Edwards. The only complaint and it's not even really a complaint just simply feedback is that Paramount's popcorn is not very good at all it's very bland and they use a kettle type corn and it's just harder to flavor that properly even though their popcorn is also significantly less expensive It's just not very good. The other thing is that the girl at the concession stand gave off the vibe with her facial expressions that she was annoyed that my girls were taking a second to choose which candies to pick. Aside from those things I would absolutely...
Read moreBefore COVID, my family and I loved coming to the Paramount Theatre. It was affordable and family friendly, though the seats themselves needed a facelift. We were excited to come to the Paramount Theatre again when we heard they were going to be implementing COVID protocols and limiting the number of people in the theater. We went to see the new Croods movie today and there was absolutely no effort to social distance. Not even a little. They allowed one seat between us and the next family but just about the entire theater was filled with people and 3/4 of them were not wearing masks at all. The renovations were great. We look forward to coming back to the theater when COVID is not as much of a risk. However, at the moment, don't believe what they are saying about taking precautions. Just like the rest of the state, Paramount Theatre has thrown caution to the wind and is acting like everything's back to normal. As much as I wish it were different, it is currently irresponsible to spend money at...
Read moreVery very busy theater. Tried going to see Moana 2 with the wife and kids. The seating arrangement didn't work for my family for an earlier showing, so we decided to go to a later showing. Upon getting there at 4:45pm for the 5 o clock showing, we purchased 4 seats and were given our tickets and popcorn. Headed down the hall to find that the door was closed and playing Wicked. We somehow got booked for a 7 o clock showing of Moana 2...and of course in due fashion, the 5 o clock showing we wanted to see was full and had no seats available. Luckily we were refunded and comped for multiple free tickets for the error. It's frustrating to say the least and hard to get crying kids out of a packed theater, but I believe better communication prior to ticket purchase between customer and associate should be worked on. First impressions are tough and this left a sour taste in my mouth. Expanding the theater, or at least the lobby could help reduce noise and confusion for those busier nights...
