We were really looking forward to our ATV tour with Grand Adventures and showed up early for what we believed was our scheduled tour. Unfortunately, we had made an honest mistake and accidentally booked it for the following weekâwhen we would no longer be in town. We immediately contacted the business while we were at the location, explained the situation, and asked about a refund or reschedule.
We were told we could receive a refund minus a 7.5% feeâroughly $30âfor âprocessing.â When we kindly asked for a full refund, the staff member not only refused but claimed that because she had to be on the phone and âclick a button,â we had now cost the business money. She stood firm that no matter the situation, a 100% refund would not be given.
Itâs one thing to have a policy. Itâs another to treat a customerâs good faith mistake with zero flexibility and then blame the cost of customer service on them. We didnât use any equipment, take anyone elseâs spot, or cancel last minuteâwe simply misread the date and immediately tried to make it right. $30 is a small amount, but it speaks volumes about how this company handles honest errors.
We will absolutely book with another adventure company next time weâre in Winter Parkâone that values people over rigid policy and doesnât treat a polite refund request like an...
Read moreHighly recommend this zipline spot for a few hours of adventure! Jeremiah and John Dodge made the trip a hell of a ride. They kept the trip entertaining and gave wonderful tips on how to stay in control, which lines to do tricks on, how to slow down safely, and when to speed up! The additional walking paths and bridges kept it unique as well.
The equipment is easy to get on, the staff helps with the harness. You also get gloves and a helmet. They make the helmets fun by adding names to each one. Our youngest (9 years old) had "Chicken Nugget" and our oldest had "Boomer"!
When you start the trip they give you a run down on the history and point out haunted buildings plus historical sites. It gets bumpy when you hit the mountain path so prepare to hold on! Patrick rocked it driving the truck and even had a fun scare at the end, spiked your adrenaline and gets you ready to hit the zipline!
If you use Apple Maps then make sure you put in the right address. Our map accidentally took us up the road too far and we had to circle back. The staff was amazing though and waited for us to arrive so we didn't...
Read moreâď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Ziplining with Tegahn and Dodge was an absolute blast! From the moment we strapped into our harnesses, it was clear we were in for an adventure of epic proportions. Tegahn, with her infectious enthusiasm and encouraging cheers, made even the most nervous zippers (ahem, me) feel like daredevils. Dodge, on the other hand, was the ultimate ziplining DJ, spinning jokes and puns faster than we could zip down the lines.
The scenery was breathtaking, but Tegahn and Dodge's antics were the real highlight. They had us laughing so hard, we almost forgot we were soaring through the treetops at breakneck speeds. At one point, Dodge pretended to be a ziplining superhero, complete with sound effects and dramatic posesâOscar-worthy, if you ask me.
Safety was top-notch, but the fun was even better. By the end of the day, we felt like a part of the ziplining family. If youâre looking for an adrenaline rush with a side of belly laughs, book a tour with Tegahn and Dodge. Just be prepared to leave with a sore stomach from all the laughing and an unforgettable memory of the best ziplining duo in...
