I've been a super long time customer of the soap shop. Today I had a weird experience. I was going to pick out some soaps that my mom had asked me to get while we were in the area When I went in I found the soaps fairly quickly. I went to the front to purchase them and handed them to the lady. My son looked at me and asked if we could go to the upstairs to check it out. So I asked the lady if I could leave them there at the desk with her and she looked at me with an appalled scowl and said you want to leave your son up on the counter. Needless to say I was obviously asking to leave the soap at the counter not my son. 🤦‍♀️ I just brushed it off and thought she was acting weird. Then I walked upstairs with my son and my soap which she'd handed back to me because she said she had too many customers in there at the time to keep track (only 2 other people in there at the time but whatever). I was upstairs and my son and I were smelling the bath salts which we've spend hundreds of dollars on in the past but I wanted to try a different scent. So as we were smelling all of the salts she came up the stairs and said oh I'd rather you not let him smell those. I've had enough kids making messes in here today. I thought to myself umm wow my son is in NO WAY unattended. I had pulled out a bag to fill it with salt and decided after she reprimanded me that I definitely wasn't interested anymore. After spending thousands of dollars here over the years I think I will be looking for a different local organic soap shop. After reading some of the other reviews on here I feel relieved to see I'm not the only one who had a bad encounter with this lady....

Amazing soap and wonderful folks. My brother recently visited Colorado with some friends, he was telling me how much he loved the soap at the Soap Shop so I looked them up. I ordered two bars of the hemp soap ( my fave) , one Colorado dunes, thieves brew, African black soap and to my surprise, I also received two samples with my order. Spa bar and tea tree lavender. So far they all smell so wonderful and fresh. THIS SOAP WILL LEAVE YOUR SKIN FEELING WONDERFUL and hydrated. No joke !

I placed two orders because I forgot something on the first one. The wonderful folks at the Soap Shop refunded my money for the shipping on the second order well before I could even ask. I called to give and express my appreciation and gratitude for the amazingly honest service I received from them. I was met with one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with from a place of business. She was so sweet and appreciative that I called just to tell them thank you for refunding the shipping cost on the second order. For me, it was a very personal experience. One I’ll never forget.

Every time I open the box from the Soap Shop, it is the next best thing to being back in Colorado. Whenever I need a gift for someone, this is my go to place and everyone loves getting these amazing, incredibly scented soaps, lotions, sprays, all of it. The body sprays are just perfect if you don't like heavy perfumes. They are delicately scented, not overwhelming at all. It's hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I would say it's the Mediterranean Fig, both the soap and the spray. My daughter loves the Oatmeal Milk and Honey. I just tried the Caribbean Coconut and the smell of that soap and how soft it makes your skin, is unbelievable. Everything is so delicate. Most soaps and sprays irritate my skin, but none of these soaps do. The baby lotion is great, I just ordered more for my 1 year old granddaughter. You can't go wrong with any of their products. I forgot to mention the shampoo bars and the bath bombs, especially the pear and green tea bath bomb, they are by far the best bath bombs I have ever tried.
