Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District — Local services in Idaho Springs

CCMRD is a gem in the Clear Creek County community. There are many programs and events for all ages and families. The pool is spectacular with water slides, fountains, diving board, hot tub, lazy river, and a lap pool. My children and nephew love the pool and it's a fantastic way to spend a Saturday. There is an indoor track, basketball court, cardio machines, weight machines, and the basement is devoted to heavier lifting. Friendly staff, beautiful facilities, never crowded, new and nice equipment, very clean. I love the lazy river, 25 yard pool, free weights downstairs, cardio upstairs. I left a pair of nice headphones downstairs accidentally, came back 30 minutes and they were still there. This is as much a community center sas it is a gym.
