Stopped in because I absolutely love Mead and tried a few from their selection. They were really good, but the one that stood out was one from the "Mazer Series". The sample was delicious, but the price was rather high (I think $65) so I was a bit reluctant but decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately for me I must have gotten a bad bottle because what I made it home with was nothing like the sample and had a strong off taste and smell of nail polish remover. So sadly didn't get to enjoy it at home and lost out on the money spent, but what was in house was good.

As many have said if you are new to mead and have not yet tried it, but curious, or a seasoned mead-vet definitely worth a stop in here ! Brooke, our bee-tender or mead-tender ( Har Har ) was fantastic and thorough in explaining the fermentation process and flavors as well! My favorite was the orange blossom And barrel aged !

The person on staff was knowledgeable and super nice to us even with 10 mins left of opening. It was not in vain, though. I left with a bottle of Electric Apple that was so great tasting. I forget what my friend bought. Mead is a fun tasty little alcohol and I recommend giving it a try.

My wife and I recently had our wedding in Golden Colorado and we cannot sing the praises of Slaymaker Meads enough! From the original concept discussions, to tastings, to the actual order and pick up- Slaymaker has been friendly and professional the whole way through. My wife and I are Medieval Reenactors, and so are our friends- to hear their praises on the quality of the mead would have made the ownership blush! It is not sickly sweet, but rather it is flavourful and natural tasting- bright and lively. We always keep a bottle or two of Slaymaker Cellars in our kitchen and now I know many more people who will as well. Thank you, Slaymaker, for the love and craftsmanship you put into every bottle and we both hope to watch your business grow...

waited a day before making my complaint. i want to start off by saying i understand its my responsibility to keep track of my own personal items. but im still recovering from surgery so my head is not in the right place. with that being said i left my sunglasses on a table, and call back regarding them. all i get in response is attitude, and "well i guess someone stole them" but i cant help wonder "dont you guys at least wipe down your tables after a quest leaves?" covid still going, some flu is going rampant, and nobody is wiping down tables? but hey thanks for the great mead i paid for thats now gonna leave a sour taste...

My favorite place in the entire town! 😁😁 Not being a knowledgeable drinker whatsoever, it was great but would be perfect for a Somalia or wine snob as well. They could break down information about basics of wine and mead, into lamens terms without making me feel ignorant, while clearly having years of experience and deeply passionate about what they make, that they clearly can talk shop with the most knowledgeable ppl! They give a couple free samples but if you get a flight, it's pretty cheap and you get to try enough variety its easy to pick a bottle as a gift or for yourself...
