Let me say, unfortunately we never got to experience this museum. However, the 1 star comes from the fact that NO WHERE is there information about scheduling in advance for the museum to be open until you get there and read the signs. As an out of town tourist to the city, this is piss poor. The hours of operation state open during the designated hours, which is when we arrived at an empty parking lot and locked building. But the exhibits go far beyond Indianapolis and its history and does a fine job of expanding to a more complete history including features on the Tuskegee Airmen, accomplishments by african americans and deep into African history.
