It’s sad to say, because Pizza Hut is my favorite chain-restaurant pizza places, but do not come here. My recent experience here has made me not want to ever be a patron at any Pizza Hut again. I ordered a plain cheese stuffed crust pizza last night (Wednesday evening around 6/6:30). The app said the pizza had been in the oven for like an hour. The estimated delivery time was 7:45. I waited until 7:51 to call the restaurant and ask when my pizza would be delivered, and they said the delivery driver had just left and should be 6-7 minutes away. Fair enough. Another 20 minutes go by, still no pizza. I call back and speak to a woman who says she is the manager. She gives me the same spiel that the driver just left and was 6 minutes away. So, I told her that is what another employee said almost 30 minutes ago and she says “well, I don’t know who you spoke to then. They just left” and proceeded to be rude the entire time on the phone. I work in customer service, so I rarely ever get an attitude with service workers seeing as it’s happened to me, but I will admit I started getting frustrated as she only offered to give me a $20 credit (which is ridiculous considering my order was more than $20) or dispute it with my bank and refused to refund me. After 4-5 minutes of fruitless back and forth, I hang up and just wait for the pizza. It finally arrives around 8:50, practically 2 hours after I ordered, and THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS WRONG. The pizza had pork on it, which my partner cannot eat considering he is Muslim (and all I had was a cheese pizza so I don’t see how that even happened). He called them back and not only did the manager refuse to apologize, but STILL refused a refund. Seriously, save yourself the time, hassle, and money and order from papa John’s or another pizza place. The manager is incredibly unprofessional, rude and doesn’t even seem to know what employees are answering the phone in her establishment.
UPDATE: still trash. Still gets everything wrong or completely forgets items. Took a chance on them since it’s been a while, sadly only ended up being a waste of $35. They forgot two items from my order yesterday and when I called they said they would send someone out with it. Never arrived nor did they follow up with me. The pizza was somehow both floppy and hard and the food was barely warm even though I only live ~7 minutes from this location. Read moreI never write reviews, but the experience I had tonight was so awful it garners one. My roommates and I placed an order for one stuffed crust pizza with alfredo base and bacon - super simple - and an order of breadsticks, at 5:00 to be delivered at 6:30.
6:30 rolled around, and no pizza. I called the store at 7 and asked about the order and the girl I spoke to told me they’re sending it out now, which is already ridiculous that they didn’t send it out until we asked where it was.
The pizza arrived 30 minutes later and when we brought it inside the breadsticks were soggy like they’ve been sitting for a long time. and we got the wrong pizza!! We ordered ahead of time so the store would have time to prepare it correctly and get us the right one on time, but they gave us a random pizza (that probably was supposed to go to someone else), and the pizza wasn’t even fresh, it seemed like it was sitting too.
I called and complained and spoke to the same girl as last time, she told me they would make us the right pizza and send it to us, and that’s the last we heard of them. An hour later and no pizza, so we called again. My roommate spoke with Brian - who was really helpful, and I wish I had spoken with him hours ago because the girl didn’t have our order remade or sent out AT ALL. I promise we were polite and clear about it too - I can understand being backed up but this is just incompetence, no matter how understaffed.
We waited, and waited, and waited, and 9:00 rolled around which is the time the store CLOSES, so we called again. We found out the pizza wasn’t made at all, and we were issued a refund. We found out the girl I spoke to on the phone didn’t even tell anyone about our replacement pizza, which is just downright upsetting.
This is ridiculous, I ordered one pizza at 5:00 to be delivered at 6:30, it arrives an hour late, it was the wrong pizza, and the employee never sent us our correct order. We didn’t find out until 9:00, four hours after we ORDERED the pizza. so ridiculous. I get being understaffed, but part of this is just laziness no matter the circumstances. As much as I appreciated the help and refund we eventually got, I don’t see my roommates and I ordering from this restaurant again until the employees figure out how to organize their time and READ THE ORDERS AND RECEIPTS???? like how can you not even check to make sure the pizza is going to the right person, it’s not that hard, speaking from experience in an understaffed restaurant.

Tried leaving this review via the order review email I received but the form never submitted even after trying multiple times to respond.
Ordering pizza was easy online; ordered it through Pizza Hut’s website and was given a 40-50 minute delivery window. Shortly after ordering, I got a notification that the order was out for delivery which was much sooner than the delivery window had estimated. That was great news. But 10 minutes later I received a separate text that now my pizza would be delivered through DoorDash which was not something I had been aware of. When I checked the status of my order on DoorDash the order was still being prepared at the store and was not in fact out for delivery. Very confusing updates and the updates were not accurate. I did not want to order through a separate delivery partner which is why I ordered directly through Pizza Huts website. I was not given any notification that my order would be routed through a 3rd party. Had I known that I would have ordered elsewhere. Overall the pizza arrived on time and it tasted good but the inaccurate delivery information was frustrating and led me to believe that ordering from Pizza Hut directly was not something I could fully trust to give me accurate and correct information nor could I trust that my order would be delivered by Pizza Hut staff rather than a 3rd party.
