I am a bit late in writing this but I lived at Ironworks Apartments for a year, only leaving due to leaving Indy. A lot of people mix this complex up with the fabulous hotel across the parking lot. So here is an honest review for the apartments.
This is hands down the best place I have ever lived. I have lived in 5 different cities across the US and I cannot rave enough. It is beautifully kept up, maintenance is fabulous here. If you are looking for community, you will find it here. The complex is very socially friendly. It is super pet friendly. I got my puppy when I was living here and her first year was built in socialization. They have events, a fabulous coffee bar, snacks and a bar care usually set with wine. They have bike rentals and a temperature controlled garage (this is what had me go YES!), and the fabulous gym! There is a small dog park for your furry friends. Last but definitely the best part of being a resident here is the staff! They took us in like family, loved on my dog like she was theirs. These are people who truly love their job. From Souheir, Brady, Anna and Katy (I am missing the maintenance team -so sorry!) - they will make you feel at home. Miss them all. You bet if I ever move back to Indy, Iâll be calling them up to see when I...
Read moreDespite the beautiful aesthetics this is a horrible place to live. I lived here for over 2 years and I was told when I was touring the place that it was "specially engineered to be very quiet". That is a total lie. This is the noisiest place I have ever lived and I wonder if their fancy "engineering" hasn't just amplified everything. Loud noise from outside. Loud noise from upstairs neighbor. Unusually loud noise from the elevator in the hall. And HORRIBLE noise from a neighbor that plays bass heavy music 24/7. He even plays it when he is not home. Because my bedroom shares a wall with him I can never sleep because the wall vibrates. I have been complaining to management for a year and they do nothing. The old manager (who is now the general manager) is an awful rude nasty woman. She is honestly the most unpleasant person I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. I can't recommend this place to anyone. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!
Also, the response Ironworks left for my review is infuriating as I've been talking to them for OVER TWO YEARS "about my specific situation" and they ignore me and give me major attitude. I paid far too much to be treated so badly. Further the elevators are broken weekly and maintenance rarely actually shows up when...
Read moreWhat can I say but âperfectionâ when describing these apartments. Lived here for two years but had to move due to relocation. The units themselves are absolutely beautiful, the floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning - makes you feel like youâre living in a building in downtown Chicago. Having lived on both floors 3&5 (5 being the top floor) I can confidently say you can hear no noise whatsoever from your neighbors, be they above, below, or next to you. The underground parking is a godsend during winter, and the hot summer days. The common space is breathtaking and will surely leave you wowed the moment you enter!
The staff are some of the nicest, friendliest, and passionate people you will ever meet. Katy, Donna, and Jim take real pride in their work & making this not just an apartment building but a true residence, and I cannot thank them enough! If youâre looking for a place to call home for one year or many Ironworks should be at the top...
