I would like to say that I enjoyed getting my nails done somewhere different cause I had heard so many good things... but that's not the case today... I definitely went in with high hopes that maybe this place would be decent since it was very nice in appearances, but I was literally not greeted by anyone and didn't even realize there was a sign in desk cause there was no one there... Then, when I was taken back nobody even asked me what I wanted... just pointing and gesturing to do this and that, not even an actual conversation... then when my nails were messed up that's when people started asking me questions and treating me like an inconvenience... Would have been nice if they didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing them.... it was just as inconvenient to me being there where everyone was speaking a different language, treating me dumb, and not saying anything to me... after nearly three hours of trying to get my nails done in a standard fashion I was more than happy to just leave... It seems as though I was overcharged do to me inconveniencing them... i would have been fine with the charge since they did a pretty good job, very smooth coating...i do have to completely re-shape the tips cause he wasnt listening...but if I'm to be treated like I'm an inconvenience then I'll be more than happy to bring my money to someone that wont treat me like an inconvenience...I will never be going back...
Read moreI used to be so smittened with this salon. However, go long enough and all its faults will.show. customer service is poor. Example..during one visit one of the nail techs who was performing my pedi, accidentally splashed water all over myself and granddaughter, who was on my lap, and I mean soaked , though she was apologetic, then did an ok job with pedi . Then when I chose to not sit and dry my toes because we were soaked, therefore not able to put my shoes on, the tech chased and argued with me grabbing my shoes out of my arms. I mean it was an awful spectical and experience and Vu was right there watching this fiasco and said nothing because it was his mother n law and didn't even offer a discount.
Another visit I was getting my acrylics filled in and I like mine short but the tech apparently didnt understand I meant SHORT so I was kindly trying to explain to him they werent short enough, Vu, sitting next to us, wanted to snap and argue requiring me to be firm with him. I've been getting my nails done for several several years so I know how I like my nails.
Another visit my pedi tech drew blood from my toe and caused pained.
What's the point of making an appt when you arrive on time to.your appt and have.to wait for over an hr!
After all this, I dont go back. Vu doesnt care about all of his customers sad to say and he is snotty, argumentative just overall poor poor...
Read moreNo one at vip nails can do long nails except for tom so basically the nail techs need more teaching. i went in for a fill only. they told me it wouldnt be long. i ended up waiting an hour and a half while people who came in after me were taken care of. I suggest Andys nails. 10 times better...and the staff is pretty freaking rude at vip nails...the nastest staff i've ever dealt with at any nail salon. take your business and hard earned coins somewhere else ladies!
Update: I took my friend in after I left my initial review bc she insisted although I warned her. She thought it would be okay bc she only wears her nails short w/ a solid color (no designs) (as if that can’t be messed up). I took her, went in w/ her and the owner approached me and held up his phone with my initial review asking if that was me. I told him yes and he asked why I was back if I felt like that. I told him my friend was being serviced and he got mad and said if I felt that way my business isn’t wanted and made a suggestion that I should leave (drama queen much). Long story short, piss poor customer service bc instead of telling me I should leave, he should’ve apologized . It is what it is though. This place is obviously located in Avon for a...
