Been coming to the Habit for over 15 yrs Started going every week when I lived in Sherman Oaks. A block from where I lived I became addicted to the Cobb and SB Char. I moved above Fresno and was excited that they opened one off Friant in Fresno. I make a special trip when coming down the hill to Fresno to stop and eat and bring food home for family. Always had a good experience until today. I will never go to this location again, nor will my family. We walked in and immediately felt unwelcomed as if we were bothering the woman and 2 cooks. No greeting, no smiles. Just very cold and uncomfortable. I ordered my usual Cobb and SBChar to share with my Mom, 50/50 rings and fries a drink and Mocha. I added mushrooms and was charged for cheese. I spent $40.00 for this! There were two other woman eating there, no one else. All the tables were dirty, grease smeared with food chunks on tables and booths with food and trash on the ground. Looked for a clean table, had to go and ask the woman to wipe one off. She grabbed a dirty, wet, smelly towel off their counter (NOT from a sanitizer bucket) and started to wipe the tables with no apology or even any eye contact or smile. We had to dry the seats off ourselves and that's when I noticed the smell from the towel. Went to wash my hands, walked in the bathroom and tripped over the wet floor sign. It was right in front of the door inside the bathroom. The bathroom wreaked of urine as well. Got our food which was the wrong burger and had 4 slices of mushrooms on it, 4! Also cooked WD I had asked for MW. Was charged for cheese when it automatically comes with it. Asked for ranch and blue cheese for the salad and was charged for that was well. I have NEVER been nickled and dimed ever in any Habit burger. After spending $40.00 I think the habit can afford to give the proper amount of dressing for a salad and burger. Sat down and overheard the employees talking about me. I then find out the woman with ZERO customer service and health standards was the manager! Hospitality, food quality, standards and just being kind to customers is nearly non existent these days. Sad, Ive been in hospitality for 30yrs and was shocked about the less than average health standards and cold/rude service in this location. Makes you wonder if this place has high standards of sanitation and how they prepare/handle the food we consume and pay A LOT for. Food is to nourish us. It's preparation needs to be taken most seriously along with a clean, sanitized environment. No one ever goes out to eat to get a food bourne illness....
Read moreI wish I can get this Inglewood California location no stars I place an order through Uber eats yesterday for me and my coworkers. I receive my order nothing had labels on it to specify which Burger belongs to who I started eating some of my french fries and noticed a toothpick mixed in with my french fries I immediately contacted their customer service and I was told that someone from that facility was going to reach out to me I took a picture of the french fries. None of my coworkers ate their food because of what was found in the french fries due to the fact of “Covid19“ we have no clue how it got there if it was in someone’s mouth and it fell out of their mouth on top of the fact that the burgers were not fully cooked and partially wrong. Someone from habits corporate customer service I believe she was a manager contacted me today and at first sounded like she was concerned what shortly turned into me feeling like she was insulting me by trying to offer me gift certificates like I would ever eat at habit again there’s a virus that’s killing people and instead of coming into the restaurant I opted to use a third-party Which they have no responsibility in preparing the food so I can’t blame them because the food was sealed this came from that facility and the fact that she think that I’m going to be OK with receiving gift cards I felt insulted on top of the fact that she told me that I should reach out to Uber eats to get a refund which I don’t agree with 100% because the incident happened at the restaurant so you guys need to fix it or you guys need to reach out to Uber eats to refund me my money. I even asked to speak to someone higher than her and she expressed to me that they were going to tell me the exact same thing so I felt like they’re condoning that it’s OK if a customer find objects in their food we’re just going to smooth it over by giving you some gift cards to come back and eat again and have more objects put into your food. Just thinking out loud I could have easily been ordering this food for me and my child and my child could a bit down on the toothpick, I could have bit down on the toothpick then it would have been a different conversation. I’m just sharing my story with you guys so that you can prepare yourself because it’s too many people out here dying and not enough workers that’s taking The proper steps when it comes to safety and health when preparing our food this coronavirus is serious. In the health department should immediately go out to...
Read moreVery disappointed with my recent experiences with this place. The website breaks down a great deal and refuses to accept standard debit or credit cards. Then you're forced to call the call center to place an order, which I had to do again. After waiting on hold several minutes, someone came on the line, took my order, confirmed it, took my credit card information, and told me when the order would be ready. I went to the store and was on time, but they had no record of my order whatsoever. The manager was very rude, curt and disrespectful, claiming that he would take no responsibility for what happened. He was dismissive and turned his back on me several times. I was both angry and frustrated since this was not the first time this has happened. He told me it would take another 7 to 10 minutes to make my order, but I was reluctant to have to wait as I had a Lyft ride out front waiting to give me a ride back to my home. At one point, because he didn't like the fact I was frustrated, he had the audacity to threaten to refuse to serve me at all. I was ready to walk out the door but he then came to his senses and went ahead and rushed the order. I was so upset when I left that I could not finish eating the food when I got home because I was so aggravated with the poor management attitude and the fact that my order never arrived at the store to begin with. Their food is pretty decent which is why I have continued to go back there, but I will no longer do business with The Habit until they get their collective act together ... meaning the website working properly, and friendly operators able to take an order over the phone and ensure that it gets sent to the store. But the unprofessional management attitude has to change. I will likely never do business with this sorry establishment again, and I will freely share my experiences with friends, neighbors...
