Great place to go for a walk or a run. If coming from North Lake, can take the bridge over Barranca, Woodbridge trail to Alton, cross Alton at Creek, then continue till the trail hits the tennis courts. From there, you can take the bridge to Blue Lake South where you'll pass by a beach volleyball court. Or you can continue along the lake and exit the trail on to Quiet Moon, then turn left to connect to West Yale Loop or right to get to Blue Lake South. Can also exit at the tip of South Lake on to the footbridge over the 405 freeway to get to Yale or Michelson Avenues or the freeway trail under the bridge. The trail around the lake is not as continuous as the one around North Lake, but still, great views, and expensive houses all around.
