Cha For Tea - Woodbridge Village Center — Restaurant in Irvine

Update: I intended to come to this location today and update their review to 5 stars because I love Cha for Tea so much but again another issue today and they weren't making their pickup orders, only orders as they can into the store. So now they are so backed up so much that we are being told it's going to be 25 min past the pickup time that we ordered ahead of time for 2 drinks. The University Center location when I visit is always busier, is open later, and never has issues managing their pickup orders with their in-person orders. Wish this location was as efficient as the University Center location. Again, I definitely recommend Cha for Tea's food and drinks (Crispy Chicken, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, and Thai Tea are AMAZING) but recommend you go to one of their other locations for a smoother experience.

Not a pleasant experience at all. First, customers aren’t told not to bring their pets inside of the store. It is disgusting to have animals in the same place as people’s food. Second, when I got my food, there was absolutely no seasoning on my chicken. I had to throw $21 worth of food in the trash. I have been going to this store since they opened. I have been a loyal customer of this company for over 20 years. I first started eating this food at the other location next to uci. It seems like customer service went out the window and it’s sad. It seems impossible to find get good service at any of these stores anymore. You can’t even place a phone order without being hassled. I think my loyalty after all these years has come to an end. It’s too much of a hassle, especially when you have to throw away food that isn’t cooked right. Sorry to say, but after all these years, I’m finished supporting this store. I would also like my money back for the food I didn’t get to eat. It’s sad that your company is more accommodating to animals who shouldn’t be in the store as opposed to loyal...

We’ve been coming here for years now, so maybe I’m biased, but when it comes to this Cha for Tea location, I give my 5 stars based not only on the quality and consistency of their food and drinks, but equally on their friendly atmosphere, incredible staff and community involvement.

This location is very popular with local students and families, so sometimes the line can get long, especially around lunch. My little one can’t get enough of their noodles, and we’re big fans of their coolers in the summer.
