Went in with my 10 year old on Friday for her first mani-pedi. When you book online their website says children 10 and under get discounted, shorter services. I was never asked her age when we got there. Toward the end of my manicure I mentioned that she's 10 to my nail tech in conversation. At the end I was told that I needed to pay full price for her because she's 10. When I told them it said 10 and under on their website, I was told that it said "under 10." I attached a screenshot directly from their website that clearly says 10 and under. Beyond that, I was never asked her age or told I would have to pay more when it was brought up during my manicure. When I questioned her much shorter mani-pedi, I was told that she got a regular, adult mani-pedi. Even though hers was a fraction of the time mine was and they didn't buff or prep her nails at all before applying the polish. The nail tech then said she had to call her manager. The manager never answered and I was told that even though I was wrong, I would still get the discount because the wording is "confusing." This made what was an enjoyable experience with my daughter, awkward and embarrassing. I was made to feel that I was being cheap, when in reality I was accurate about the price and just don't want to pay for an adult mani-pedi when that's not what she received. To top it off, the polish of an entire nail on my daughter's finger peeled off in one large piece 2 days after she got her manicure. It's been 4 days and 3 of her nails have peeled completely off. I have never seen such a terrible manicure in my life. I don't believe that this would have happened if they properly prepped her nails--which they should be doing regardless of the discount. Now my daughter is disappointed and I feel like I wasted my money. To the manager, please don't leave me a 3 page response like you have every other negative review on here. I don't want to hear your reasons for providing subpar work, trying to overcharge for it, and then embarassing your customers in front of their children....
Read moreI had been using the same lash place for about the last year, I let my lashes go for a bit and needed a full set, my previous place had no availability.
I stumbled across glamour due to its proximity to my work. I was coming up on a trip and my thirtieth birthday and wanted to treat myself before the trip. I was excited to see they had availability within two days of my searching.
I saw Cindy for my appointment and she was courteous, on time, professional and gentle. The salon has a very relaxed feel and super comfortable chairs. I actually found myself drifting off throughout the appointment. I left super impressed with my lashes too!!
Pan to several days later and I found one corner of one of my eyes did not support the lashes well and had already shed them. I called in to see if I could get a mini-fill before I leave on vacation, which is tomorrow and my only availability is today or tomorrow after 5 (yes, I was that person) and assured them it was okay if not.
Well, the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was so incredibly pleasant about the whole thing and they accommodated me the same day! I know I was at the end of her day, but Cindy stayed and took the time to not only fill in my missing corner but touch up some of the other areas. The most absurd thing was that they didn’t even want to charge me for it! Thankfully they let me tip, at least. This salon really stands by their work and customer service and does a high quality job!
I’m looking forward to continuing to see them and next time I am definitely going for getting my...
Read moreI'm going to give my experience, I've been going there for over three months and on two occasions a woman who works there at the nail salon has exposed me to this situation which is the following, when you paying she asks out loud and openly why you haven't left a tip, she does this with the purpose of making you feel bad or other see with bad eyes and you feel forced to leave a tip if you don't do it they gossip among the clients today sep 5-2025 I told her why do you ask me for a tip is there a rule which says do I have to leave you a tip? and of course you look like the bad person in front of the others if you don't do it that's not right I was searching online to find out who the owner is. Of course, I didn't find this question. I'm also a business owner and I know that customers should be respected, which isn't happening there when it comes to paying. But I love the girl who does my eyelashes and I think she is very professional in her work. Note: that when you feel like leaving a tip or extra money, it's because you feel that way, not because...
