I had to go back to Florida for a medical procedure and found I needed some money for expenses. I went to Krasner, after reading mixed reviews. Well, I won't go back. Talk about low balling, they offered me $90 instead of the 150 I asked for. This is a ring I had previously pawned in Florida for 200, with no problem. I had to pawn two rings that cost 2,000 to have made to get the 150. Both were 14k gold and one has a diamond chip in it. Ridiculous, but I was stuck. I HAD to have the medical procedure. I would have given 3 stars, but when I went to pick them up with my debit card, I was told cash only. Really?? I had to go to an atm, pay an additional 3.29 fee to get the cash, go back to the pawnshop, and get my items. The pawnshops in Florida not only give fair prices on pawns, they take debit cards. The employees weren't rude or anything, but I got an impression they were downing me. Before I left, he wanted my name, including middle name which I never use. Just to tell me how much cash to bring in. I said I know, and left. Don't go here if you don't want a fair price for pawn.
In reply to your response: the last time I pawned either ring was last summer in Gainesville Florida, I was given a loan for $300 for both rings. I was also able to pay with my debit card when I picked them up. As for verifying who I am, I would think asking for an ID would be more accurate than just asking my middle name. You have no idea who I am. I could have stolen the identity of someone after finding a pocketbook with the receipt for...

Read moreI have been to Krashner’s Half a dozen times or more, mostly to pick to pick up guns. They are the nicest, kindest, most professional folks, while making you feel at ease. I did have an occasion where I had to borrow money against one of my rifles and I found their rates reasonable and the rifle was returned to me in the exact same condition that I turned it in. I do not recommend Krashners; I HIGHLY recommend Krashners. Thanks to the...
