⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Cultural Gem with Endless Discoveries!

Oriental Market in Jacksonville is an absolute treasure trove for anyone craving a global adventure without leaving the city! Walking in feels like stepping into a vibrant flea market, bursting with colors, aromas, and an incredible variety of items that celebrate cultures from around the world. Whether you’re hunting for Jamaican spices, Haitian ingredients, Asian snacks, African staples, or Spanish delicacies, this place has it all—and then some.

For Military Families & Okinawa Nostalgia: If you’re a marine or part of a family that’s PCS’d from Okinawa, Japan, prepare to be thrilled! The market stocks a nostalgic array of Japanese snacks, treats, and specialty goods that’ll transport you straight back to the island. It’s a heartfelt touch that makes this spot a lifeline for those missing a taste of home.

Stock Up & Save: The selection here is unmatched—think 15–25 lb bags of rice, authentic spices, frozen treats, chinaware, cultural hair care products, clothing, cakes, and more. The prices are wallet-friendly, especially for bulk items or hard-to-find imports. You’ll leave with a full cart and a happier budget!

Friendly Vibes & Easy Access: The staff radiates warmth and patience, always ready to help you navigate the aisles or recommend products. Plus, the parking lot is spacious (no tight squeezes between stores!), making stress-free stops a breeze.

Location Perks: Nestled in the Morris Mini Mall Plaza, it’s surrounded by quirky neighbors like a barbershop, seafood spot, hair salon ("hair restaurants" – how fun!), and even a gun store. It’s a one-stop plaza for eclectic errands!

Heads-Up: Plan ahead—they’re closed Mondays, but trust me, it’s worth scheduling a visit any other day.

Final Verdict: Oriental Market isn’t just a store; it’s an experience. Whether you’re a foodie, a culture enthusiast, a homesick Okinawa transplant, or just curious, this place will wow you. Don’t miss it—it’s a five-star standout in Jacksonville’s shopping...

So starting My son and I shop here all the time so. I though no problem going in today we'll I was wrong so I went in and was picking I a few Items ( stuff for oil) and I thought well I will try my luck at asking for a Job application but nope she was rude and very biased. Now I am for sure this lady is married to a big black man. Me and this woman have spoken on multiple occasions about where I have served over seas in Japan How I know the culture so well and different Asian subjects just she was just flat out rude about it I was not rude when asking I simply asked ma'am do you happen to have a job opening or application by the way they have a n were hiring on the wall. She was like no yet all I have seen her hire is WHITE, ASIAN OR LITE BRITE HISPANICS. Miss lady you do not have to lie to me or any other person's of color just say we do not hire you. . safe to say I will be going to the Japanese market down the road from now on. They are friendly maybe I will have better luck she was way nicer when I went smaller place...

I went to Oriental Market to see if they had a few items I needed. The store has a large amount of dry foods. Most of the food here is dry foods. Oriental Market is more than a grocery store, because of the range in products they offer. The store specializes in Filipino ingredients.

The section of items in the store is pretty good considering it’s in Jacksonville. The store carries noodles, sauces, spices, drinks, candy, frozen foods and a small selection of vegetables. They also carry kitchen items like bowls and utensils, even clothing and hair products.

They have a small selection of vegetables.

The prices at the store are a little high for a lot of items. But that is most likely due to the location of the store.

The lady at the counter was not friendly at all. Which I found odd. Customer service should always be friendly. They lost a Star because of this.

I give Oriental Market 3 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s an ok Asian (Filipino) grocery store. If you don’t mind paying a little extra, or having friendly service, check...
