Never order from here. Not only was the food horrible but the customer service was really bad.
None of the food was hot or even mildly warm. The inside of the egg rolls were mushy as if it was chewed up before wrapping them, the wrap was soft as if they sat in grease for hours. The rice was hard and dry, as if i heated rice up in the microwave The beef in my shrimp and broccoli was soggy and the inside was still pink. After the tip was added to my order, The total amount charged to my account was $5 more then what it should have been.
When contacting the restaurant manager. She told me she contacted the owner and sent him my information and pictures and that he would contact me the next morning. Also if i wanted to order more food she would give me $10 off.
Little to say. Two days later i called back and the same manager, said she spoke to the owner (instead of him calling me like i was told) and he said to give me back the $5 difference from my total bill after the tip and what they charged me. Then when i asked her what we were going to do about the uncooked beef (which i ate none, i returned it when i went to pick up the $5. she took the container and threw it in the trash and told me, "the owner said that's how we make it and if i didn't want it like that then i should have asked for it to be well done" Once i asked "so that's it i lose out on my money for the meal because it was uncooked?" she told me that's how its cooked but the owner said if you wanna order more food, he will give you 20% off your next order.
Very very unsatisfied with this place, there are other Chinese places to order from. I wanted to try something new because they put a menu in my door and it was close to the house. Nothing about this experience was good or worth it in any way. I actually wasted money ordering from here.
Disrespectful and rude, rice and egg rolls were old and the beef was under cooked. Order elsewhere please. Places like this should continue to struggle and should be stopped from getting any more customers. Until they change something and take their customers into consideration and handle these situations the way they should be. Read more**THIS IS A LONG REVIEW AND ACCOUNT OF MY DEALINGS WITH EMPIRE CHINESE RESTAURANT.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I called to place an order for delivery and the woman who would later identify herself as the so-called manager was extremely rude and short so I attempted to cancel within 30 seconds of giving her my card information and she claimed that the card was already charged. I argued that food preparation hasn't started so the order can be cancelled, to which she responded "DON'T EVER CALL BACK HERE".
I then called back and asked if I needed to go up there to get confirmation that my order was cancelled to which she responded "COME UP HERE AND YOU WILL BE DEALING WITH THE COPS" and hung up. I made my way up there and when I arrived, I asked a woman behind the front counter for proof of cancellation for my order and she had no idea what I was referring to. I quickly realized that it was not the same person I was dealing with over the phone. This particular woman gave me my receipt and I left.
Upon explaining the situation to my wife, she made her way up there to get the owner's name so we can file a complaint. As soon as she showed up and inquired about the name, the 'so-called' manager made the connection between my wife and me, and called the cops. After a few minutes an officer showed up and we explained the situation. He tried to enter the store to speak to her but she yelled that he get us off the premises, at which time the officer suggested that we leave and obtain the business ownership information by other means.
We then head home and about 30 minutes later, a man calls me and asked "WHY DID YOU HAVE YOUR GIRL GO UP THERE TO TALK TO MY GIRL", confused, I asked who he was and he then stated "WHY DID YOU HAVE YOUR GIRL GO TO MY BUSINESS, I'M THE MANAGER". We had a heated 60 second argument and he ended the call by stating "JUST SO YOU KNOW, I HAVE YOUR INFO". I alerted base PMO and a report was taken.
TAKE NOTE: -HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND -MY PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBER WAS GIVEN TO THE SO-CALLED MANAGER'S BOYFRIEND SO HE CAN COMMUNICATE A THREAT.
The action of threatening me alone should be grounds for restrictions or a ban to be placed on this business by the base inspector general. I intend to cooperate with PMO and help ensure no one else has this experience. WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS, STAY AWAY FROM...
Read moreFirst off terrible, terrible, terrible I wouldn't give this place a single star...the only reason I am giving it a one star is to write this review...to start with we recived a flyer stating it was their grand opening which it clearly wasnt after going and looking at the reviews...now to get started...the lady was rude taking our order and was not paying attention to what we were saying and actually hung up on us the first time we called I had to repeat my order multiple times. Finally after ordering, it took over an hour to recieve our food which was ice cold, after warming it up we tried to eat it and it was absolutely terrible tasting to the point it made us ill and could not eat it. Therefore we called and told them and they offered 25% off our next order which was not happening due to the food tasting that terrible which we told her as the conversation went on WE were told to bring the food back for a refund, once arriving they refused to give the money back and said they never said that. My friend at this point was dealing with it and they kept giving her a hard time, I personally had to go in the resturant and deal with the matter myself after all said and done they charged us for 5 dollars for eating ONE egg roll and told us we shouldnt have ate the any of the food at all, mind you we only took a bite of our food it wasnt as if we ate half of our dishes then decided to call. She then proceeds to speak a differnt language with the other workers and looking at us shaking their heads...end of story terrible service, terrible food, terrible attitudes of everyone in there and now I have to wait to see if I am getting the rest of my money refunded since they would not give us the cash back and "reversed" the charges on the card (besides the 5 dollar egg roll) I will never order from here EVER again nor will I recommend this to anyone not even a homeless person! My dog eats better food than what they are serving! I'm completely disappointed with their services. I could say much more, but I think I've made my point. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!
