Paleteria Deya is one of the very first ice cream parlors I came into when I first stepped foot into Jacksonville. It is a truly nice and festive area to be in. Every season they are showing true to their culture with decorations littered in the ceilings , on the ground and even outside of the door to welcome you. Their ice cream is often packed with flavor, spice and everything nice. The only negative thing I hav to say today is that the MANGO in the cups are sometimes not ripe or are overly ripe which can mess up the textures in the cups but the pineapples are ALWAYS AMAZING .. overall I love this place

So good that we brought more family and friends a couple days later for another trip! Very clean and everything is labeled and explained (very important for my Asian/American self because I’ve never tried many of these things.) I went basic with a milkshake the first time, then had a popsicle, next time I’ll be brave and try a Mexican ice cream 🤤 the spicy mango one sounds good! Everyone from ages 5-35ish in our group found something they liked. Someone ordered a banana split and it looked ahhhmazing. A 100% sanitation rating to top it off! We will be back.

First time visiting. Went 15minutes before closing on a Monday night. I noticed right away the vibrant and inviting atmosphere filled with eye catching decor. Customer service was good. Moving on to the main course the ice cream; plenty of flavors to choose from. I went basic and got cookies n cream on a waffle cone. Coming from California, I know what fresh ice cream and ice cream cones tastes like & it wasn’t the case here. It tasted good but it wasn’t fresh. I won’t return but I’ll recommend it.
