Guild Gaming — Local services in Jacksonville

I have been coming here a few months now in NC. They had great prices and ive bought close to 900 worth of material from this store. Between commander decks/collector booster boxes and playing mats and sleeves. I came in for the Ravnica remastered collector box today and they were selling it at 330 which after tax brought it to 360 i asked if that was a little high to one of the employees and he said “yeah they must have switched it” he then called to Tommy who I just found out is the owner and asked if this was the right price. He said yes and I responded with “alright well I will just buy it from tcg for 250 then sorry.” He said okay and then looked at a what I assumed to be a customer next to me and said “people just dont get that we buy them at this price so we have to sell them at this price.” Motioning with his hand up and down. I did love it here but the sarcasm was not appreciated and I called to other stores who were selling it at TCG price or 20 over it not 100. I’ve almost never had issues at this card/gaming store but this is the third time I’ve bought sleeved booster packs from older sets or just packs in general here that I’ve had suspicions of being resealed, one time i was able to prove it and got replacements but the other two times I was not so lucky after spending 30-50(sometimes more) dollars on packs, I don’t know what to look for or how to show someone a pack might’ve been resealed. All the cards(including code cards) were backwards and some were even upside down when I opened. Not a single pack had a hit in it out of 40 dollars worth of packs. Starting to reconsider frequenting this location since the only thing I’ve never had issues with is newer sets or booster boxes. Feels like I’m getting ripped off buying packs at this location unfortunately if it isn’t a brand new set or...
