RUDE AND UNRULY EMPLOYEES ALERT!!!! Yesterday, I had the most unprofessional experience that I’ve ever had in an establishment, and it speaks volumes for this particular franchise owner. I brought 2 Amazon returns in to ship, and was met with a borderline hostile employee. I was not once rude or disrespectful, however I did ask her why she was giving me such attitude. She relayed to me that she’d had two previous customers that were rude and she was still carrying that anger and energy. I told her that I was not once rude or disrespectful to her and that I did not deserve her blatantly rude and disrespectful responses. A second customer was also in there, and acknowledged that she saw and heard everything, and she did not approve of the attitude of the employee either. I then asked for her name because I was going to talk to a manager, and her response was “don’t worry about it.” So I then asked if there was a manager in, and her response was “NO!” Well, to my surprise, the “manager” was standing off to the side, and when prompted, stated that she was the manager. So myself and the other customer proceeded to politely explain what the issue was, and to our dismay, the “manager” actually began defending the unruly employee. I then ask if there was someone above them, and she replied no. The other customer then asked for her name, to which she produced (found out later to be a fake last name). After some time of back and forth over how the employee was wrong or not wrong, I learned that the problematic employee is actually her daughter. It then made sense as to why she was so hellbent on defending someone that two different customers, who had never met, were complaining on the same exact employee for the same exact issues. I was never not ONCE rude or disrespectful, and to that their defense was that men are usually mean to them. I do not deserve the repercussions of the actions of other customers. Not to mention if you’re in customer service, you need to have the maturity to step away to keep from lashing out at follow-up customers. I would like for someone from the PostalAnnex+ corporate to contact me. I went to the other PostalAnnex+ in Jacksonville to get information on who higher up to contact over this one, and I will be doing so. This is a prime example of why family members (spouses/parents/children/siblings) should not work together, which is common knowledge. It produces a biased and defensive work...
Read moreThis postal annex is not the best place to ship with. I’ve always used the postal annex on yopp rd and they people are so friendly. They make you feel at home every time you enter the place. I went into this postal annex for the first time and NEVER AGAIN. First off, due to them being privately owned, they have their own rules. YOU MUST WEAR A MASK OR YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY, REGARDLESS OF BEING VACCINATED. (They turned away the lady standing behind me even with her asking if this was allowed even with her being vaccinated and the state mandating that with being so, you can refrain from wearing the mask) ..Okay, so that’s their right. Well what got me was, the fact that the gentleman told me he would not be giving me a receipt with the tracking of the items I dropped off to ship. I was told that they don’t provide a receipt of any sort for any packages being dropped off. It’s their rule or policy, regardless of any other postal annex doing so. I proceeded to inform this man that for anyone shipping an item off, wether they have their own shipping label or not, a tracking receipt is beneficial for the seller due to the post offices possibly losing an item and this confirms your shipment, or rather, protects you as the shipper when selling with mercari or posh. After I insisted to be given my packages back, to take to the postal annex on yopp (which is where I normally always go), he decided “he will do it this one time and print me a shipping confirmation”. And he made sure to inform me that this one time thing wouldn’t happen again. Not a great place to do business with when shipping items to loved ones, friends and family or any businesses. I’m not sure who owns this place, but it may be beneficial to “not make up your own rules or policies” when it comes to just being a secondary...
Read moreI've been a customer here at least once a month for the last few months, usually paging HIGH prices for overnight shipping. I always ask about rates vs delivery times. When they say, 'guaranteed to be delivered by this time' I take their word for it. But apparently their guarantee is worthless. I paid for 2 day shipping, both fedex and postal annex's tracking system states that it never left the location. It's almost a week now with no update on tracking and my package was not delivered. When I asked them about it I've been given the run around, been told they would call me, when I didn't hear from them and called the manager I was told she would return my call (so far nothing) I asked about a refund for the very expensive shipping and I was told they DONT OFFER REFUNDS! Told me to contact Fedex, but they never delivered my package to fedex therefore the responsibility lies SOLEY on them! After searching the Internet i'm finding so many stories of exactly the same chain of events at this franchise all over the country. My receipt states that 'postal annex assumes no responsibility for damage to customer packed shipments except for loss by carrier' which is EXACTLY what's happened, yet they are refusing to accept the responsibility and refund my $60.68. Fraudulent, appalling and despicable business practices! Everything I state is accurate, true and can be proven with...
