Springfield Park — Attraction in Jacksonville

Obviously if u have an agressive dog, do not bring ur damn dog to the dog park. My dog is being currently sedated right now from a dog attack. Please look at for a blondish medium size dog name Cheyenne with a black lady as her owner. Also has a black dog that was aggressive and stayed in the lady's truck and a small white and black chihuahua. Drives a truck and a handicap tag n the rear mirror. Please get her information as she needs to pay my vet bill. Do not go to this dog park unless u like getting ur dog attacked. Dog needs a muzzle bad owners. She didn't do nothing but stand there and watch her dog attack mine and while I was breaking them apart she didn't do nothing at all!!!! I'm enraged. She picked a military personnel dog. This Confederate Park was once one of the most beautiful parks in America and honored local women and other citizens who suffered and defended home, family, and nativeland in America's deadliest war. Now the park is neglected and home to vandals. It's like the city took its most cherished, prized, and treasured property and squandered it. This park is a great example how prior generations were much more respectable and orderly, and kept the city and surrounding parks in much better groomed, beautiful, immaculate condition. While the prior generations built a beautiful city, this generation seems intent on destroying it.

This is a great large open area dog park. There is not a separate area for small dogs, not that I have any just thought I'd mention. Has an area for washing off dogs and even a pool to fill up. Today the dog park was clean, they had just mowed and picked up all the trash that you normally find. No flooding today usually it's half under water after a good rain. Speaking of mowing it would be nice if they would accually BAG the clippings my dogs were covered in wet grass. Area of town is sketchy but No one has ever bothered or intimidated me. I love the sidewalk that goes all the way around the park. Plenty of seating...
