Horrible! Manager Matt Jellings offensive & after two efferts in asking for help in photo/printing shop area he reffused. I was one of two customers who asked for assistance after 30mins of waiting..getting an error disc (was asking for a copy) came back in waited another 30mins no worker in site. TEN customers where behind me all frustrated, all cursing & complaining. I decided to go up front to ask for a refund ($9. 95) after wasting over an hour of my time. I spoke directly to "manager" Matt Jellings. I explained my past hour plus of fustration & mentioned the 10+ customers behind me. Matt Jellings said "employee was in back doing paper work". I expressed the need for assistance not only with my issue but the multiple others upset & waiting customers. He told me to leave. No. I'll take my refund for items defulted & then will go. He walked away. Manager Matt Jellings was sitting chatting with an another employee up front where I confronted him about the mass back up & lack of service. After manager Matt Jellings walked away I asked the man he was chatting with if he worked here. Yes he replied. Great, can you get up & help me please?. On his own time he got up, walked to a register with a smirk & resistance..Even though this man heard my request for a refund he still battered and rebuttal me. After two calls to Manager Matt Jellings through an ear piece.. Once again he was told (two times now being told ok for refund)ok. I noticed somthing under this mans uniform with tassels. I kindly asked "what are you wearing" he (Quan is his name) explained it was for religious reasons. He then went on to explain that quote "my people" (meaning me white people) were bashing his people's wives heads in and feeding his people's children to alligators that he is from the "chosen tribe"....??? Really?? I've called corporate. I went back & gave five others in line corporate complaint line as they asked & stated they'd be doing the same. All but one in this backed up ignored line said they would NEVER be back due to poor management (as two othet customers asked manager Matt Jellings for assistance he took no action to either req.) & lack of care/concern or general kindness nor attention to customers. This is one of MANY dissatisfied trips to this store location. I will cont. to contact corporate. Hire those who want to be at their job & can do it correctly or clean house. We all have jobs. S. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just had a wonderful experience here at the mail/copy/print section of the store. I was waited on Tim and a lovely lady that I didn't catch her name, sorry. Upon approaching the counter I told Tim I was extremely embarrassed and started apologizing for my lack of knowledge on how to accomplish my task. He immediately responded by saying exactly what my issue was and didn't make me feel like an imbecile. He said that I wasn't the first this morning, wouldn't be the last, my problem was quite common. Sure enough customers behind me were in the same boat. He put us all at ease . Now I know why my son loves this location, these two people are awesome. Went in stressed, left laughing.
UPDATE: June 6, 2024 Just had the worst experience here. It went from one extreme to the other. Made another trip today and the place is apparently not run well without Tim. A man named Taso should not be working in a spot (printing) if he doesn't know how to do it. The man literally walked away from me when I was having a problem with me not getting a confirmation email from OP. Instead of trying to figure out what to do, he walked away. I had to call him back and request for someone else at least twice. There was another customer in the store that saw the latter half of what I was going through, he took couldn't believe it. Got today's manager who wasn't Tim, I told him how I was treated, suggested he watch their store video. He too acted like he couldn't give a damn and just said something to the effect that he'll go over training with him again. This store isn't worth going to unless Tim is here. I won't be coming back unless...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to have a poster printed, it was about 15 mins before they close. I just ordered the file fro Etsy and still need to edit it. I really need it for my daughterās school tomorrow. Tammy H at the printing department was very patient with me. She went above and beyond. She didnāt show any kind of irritation as I was unprepared to print it. My file still needed editing before printing. She helped me edit it in her computer. She was so energetic, very pleasant, very knowledgeable of her job. The poster came out perfect! Thanks for her help. I can tell that she is family oriented as she understands the importance of this poster for my daughterās first day of school. An interaction with her shows how deeply she cares about other people and her job. Office Depot is just so blessed to have Tammy. Our world needs a lot of Tammy H. Iām honestly please of this encounter. This shows how a simple interaction can make a huge difference in someoneās life. Iāll make sure Iām enthusiastic as her when I go back to work.
I went back to Office Depot today and David Moore helped me. He was very patient with me about my request of printing pictures for my cousinās husband who passed away. He made sure that the pictures fit in the frames that I brought in. Heās very attentive and knows what heās doing. I just told him about my encounter with Tammy a few months ago. It must be a culture of great customer service. This store has great workers. I will be visiting them more frequently. They truly value...
