Highland Dog Park (Members Only) — Attraction in Jeffersonville

I would give it 5 stars if it was free for the citizens of Jeffersonville but it's not. You have to pay a fee and give your dogs vaccine's that are not recommended by the vet to be given unless you are boarding them somewhere for an extended amount of time. If it was built for the citizen of Jeffersonville then it should be accessible for the citizens of Jeffersonville. When they started building the dog park it cost me one of my dogs, how you ask well my parents live in the neighborhood where the park was built and when they started tearing down the trees and causing the natural habitat of the animals that had lived there for year to be destroyed they moved on to our back yard. One of those animals just happened to be a very large copperhead snake that got inside one of my dogs houses and ended up biting him in his chest and...

I guess it's good if you don't have a yard. A lot of vaccination requirements and then $50 a year per pet. You have to Worry about fleas, any doggie contagious diseases as we'll as the doggie flu. They do a good job keeping the grass cut. They really need to fill the hand sanitizer dispenser. I hate that they turned off the water fountain. It's such an inconvenience. The small fountain has never worked to begin with. I would really like to see a bench implemented close to the water fountain and maybe a small bin for toys that people want to leave that way they aren't left...
