I felt most comfortable ordering from Papa John's during this time because of the "Leave at the door" no contact and the sealing of the pizza to ensure it had not been tampered with. Yesterday, my delivery driver James did not leave it at my door. He handed me the order and a receipt to sign. Strike number 1. I ordered the day before and the driver did not present me with a receipt. Which is what No contact means. Osigned the receipt and when I attempted it to give it back to him, he told me, "I dont need it." My response to him was "Ok why did you have me sign it?" He walked away tossing his carrying case I. The air and responded smugly and very rudely "For a tip". It wasn't until I got into my house that I realized that the pizza wasn't sealed, therefore not ensuring that he hadn't tampered with it. When I called to report it, the manager Billy couldn't be less concerned with the treatment. She offered to refund me, or send another order out. Why on earth would I want someone else to deliver an order to me after that? So I just asked for a refund. I have all the respect into the world for essential workers during this time. But to be so rude to tell me "for a tip" is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered the food. The last time I checked you all pay your employees a paycheck. So therefore, if James doesn't like what he's being paid, perhaps he should move on. I'm very surprised at that type of treatment. I'm an African American woman and I know for fact, if I had said that, I'd be looking for a job RIGHT NOW. If you look at the Facebook page for this particular location, there is horror story after horror story about the level of customer service people receive from this crew. After what's been going on in the news with the Papa John's restaurant chain, it's not a very good look to have a location with employees with such an arrogant disdain for the experience of your customers. No one ever picked up for him but someone picked up and said please hold for me. I hung up after 22 min. My husband was on the second time 40 min. We arrived at the store and there was one employee who seemed to be lost. We told him we both called and no answer. My husband was still on the phone. The employee said let me get my manager. He went out side and the manager asked what we needed. My husband asked if anyone was working. The guy said yes and my husband said I've been on hold for almost an hour trying to order. The manager said great and gave a 👍. Then he tried to blame the driver which the driver would have66 nothing to do with someone answering the phone. My husband said that's all you can say. Manager said yes and said you can leave. My husband said I am and said everyone was outside getting high. The employee who was the only one in there had red eyes and looked high. This was very horrible customers service. The manager did not care we called for an hour and no answer. He didn't say sorry or anything. There was nothing being done inside the store because they all was on the side of the building. I'm a manger myself and I was shocked to see a manger be so rude and careless. I recorded him. Read moreThis place was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with ordering a pizza. First off my order was placed over a hour and a half before it was to be delivered because me and my family wasn’t home yet so we put the order in for later to be delivered. The delivery was running late so I called in to see what the status was. They couldn’t find my order so someone had to ask for the manager to look it up by my tracking number because we couldn’t actually track it ourselves because there was a issue with the app. The manager said that the order was on its way. We waited for another 45 minutes and it still never arrived. I called them and was told that it was delivered. I informed the manager that was not true and he told me the person left it on my door step and rang my doorbell. Me and my family were all sitting in my living room and this never happened at all. He said that it was a experienced driver and one of my neighbors must have stolen it. I said look this is incorrect and since when does someone deliver pizza and not actually see someone at the door when dropping it off? He said there was only two things that he could do either cook the pizzas again and have them dropped off or refund my money. It was well past 9pm and I have 2 children so I wasn’t gonna wait for another hour so I said just refund my money. The refund was never done and I had to call corporate office. I do not recommend anyone EVER getting pizza from this place. The manager is not a nice person either he was very unprofessional.
