Wanted a mission style reclining love seat in leather. After an interesting drive in through this old army depot, we found it. 20 -30 minute drive from Germantown. Most seating here is like kind of transitional style. Loads of sectionals, sofas, loveseats, recliners. Hardly any were actual leather. Picked out a piece that would fit our space and needs. Asked if was leather. Was told it was Nubuck leather. Delivery charge was $180. Turned out when I did some online research that the fabric is “Nubuck-like leatherette”, aka plastic. The salesman adjusted our warrantee from one year to two. I’ve just had a frustrating experience with a plastic faux leather that shed daily for years and I wanted to avoid that. Delivery came two hours earlier than the company scheduled it. Two teens delivering. Very polite young men. They helped put our pieces we were replacing out on the curb. One accidentally lost his balance and fell while the pair were assembling the piece in place. A metal printed antique photograph fell when the young man fell into the shelf accidentally. He apologized repeatedly and it wasn’t a big deal. Unfortunately we noticed after they were gone, that paint was knocked the photo.
I sacrificed finding exactly what I wanted for something handy and quick. Lesson learned.
Hoping the loveseat lasts more than two years. I’m not into disposable furniture and how it harms the planet.
You may find a deal if you are not looking for something very specific. Do your research before assuming sales folks will remember the specs on the piece you are interested in.
Dress warm if dropping by in winter as the sales space is partially heated. It’s a very high ceiling making heating a challenge.
Syncope Bank is their go for financing, according to a sign on the wall. One of the highest interest banks out there.
Bottom line? Mixed experience. Take care and do your own homework. If you are looking for something specific, might better spend your time looking elsewhere. I probably won’t go back as it spent an hour going/coming. Plus the quality was not the best. Paying $180 for what was billed as white glove service only to now need to try an art piece repaired? Came to $200 with...
Read moreFrom the minute we walked in, we were greeted and was asked what we were looking for. They have such great options for financing, even one with no credit check. Once we were approved we knew what we could look at. We laid eyes on such a nice sectional set with lounge but it was over our limit. We looked and considered other options but we wanted the one that was over our limit. The guy that owns the company said we could get the sectional only within our budget. He crunched the numbers and knew how bad we wanted the set he dropped the price which was about $500 so we could have it and he included the white glove delivery which is normally $200. I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was. We definitely left happy and will definitely go back for our other needs! Thank you Dropbox from the bottom...
Read moreI bought a mattress from BoxDrop about 2+ months ago and I've had no issues with the mattress whatsoever. For payment, I went through their third party finance option (Snap Finance). It was very difficult to contact SF to pay off my bill in full to avoid interest after 100-days. But I made one phone call to BoxDrop and they connected me with them and I was able to pay off my account on-time with no interest. So not only did I feel like I got a good deal for the mattress. I also feel that they went the extra mile to help me when technically they didn't have to. So I appreciate that very much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE IN NEED OF A MATTRESS....PRICE IS 10xs better than the name brand stores. Quality is...
