I do not recommend this salon. I was looking for somewhere that would fit me in quickly and granted they were able to fit me in the following day. I had company coming in and I wanted to get my roots and hair to look fresh. I brought in my clip in extensions that I asked to have matched and told the stylist Jay to do whatever she needed to get rid of my brown and gray roots but make sure she matched my extensions. She ended up doing a full highlight. While washing my hair, I was already getting annoyed because she kept on getting Soap in my ear. I kept on trying to wipe it off with the towel to see if she would get the hint but she did it again like 3 times afterward. Keep in mind I was just recovering from an ear infection so I honestly did not want any water getting in my ear. When I saw my hair after she started drying it, it was literally a solid light brown/dark blonde color. I told her this was nothing similar to my extensions and she admitted that she put a toner in my hair and she didn’t expect my hair to turn so dark from it. Ummm okay... and then she said “but it will fade”. Well here’s the thing, when I go to a salon, I want to come out with the hair I asked for not hair that will maybe turn the color I asked for in 2 to 4 weeks. They still charged me the full price and I ended up paying because I did not want to be a difficult customer. She offered that I could come back in to get my hair washed with a clarifying shampoo. But looking at my hair today, I honestly can’t stop crying. All the blonde I had is gone. It’s a light brown and the grays from my roots are all still there. I honestly do not know what full highlights means in this salon but I do not want them to touch my...
Read morePretty unpleasant experience at this salon the initial discussion around which color was positive. I had booked in for highlights and correcting toner. The hairdresser was incredibly rough with brushing, sectioning, washing my hair, My scalp is now red and tender. I wasn't asked if the water temp was ok the removal of the foils and washing was rough and had me wincing. I was not asked how I like my hair styled, which parting I had, my bangs- nothing. I had no discussion or even consultation which products she used prior to a very rough and at points painful incomplete blow dry. At that point I offered to just leave with wet hair wondering if her rough handling was due to time constraints or over booking.
No offer of straighteners or curling iron. I left the salon with still damp and to be honest, terribly dried frizzy hair then to be asked at the desk how much I would like to tip. I then had to come home and try to restyle my hair to find both ears have dye inside and all around my earrings and a patch of hair missed of color on my temple. the color is okish - the condition is now poorer and it's still got a green tint. Incredibly...
Read moreFirst time experience coming here was absolutely more then I ever expected. Let me just start by saying I'm very picky when it comes to someone cutting my hair. After moving away 2 hours from my hairstylist friend who has been cutting my hair for the past 13 years. I decided to watch a you tube video and cut it myself. Big mistake! Lol so I knew I needed it fix. So after literally spending a hour going over different salon reviews I decided to give D&B a try and I'm so glad I did. Megan did my hair and she is just wonderful. Not only did she take her time, she did amazing job with my hair. I'm in love with my new cut. She is also easy to talk to and very nice and welcoming. She offered me something to drink more than once which I declined only because I had just had a big bottle of Fiji water. Very reasonable price for hair cut only $39 can't beat that and I gave a $10 tip so $49 total which is a steal for a nice cut. I will definitely be back to see Megan..... I know I found my new hairstylist. 😊❤ wish I could of...
