Title: Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Roaches, Rude Staff, and No Refund I stayed at this hotel last night, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When I first arrived, the key to my room didn’t work. After going back to the front desk, they gave me a second key — which also didn’t work. The staff then moved me to a different room. When I got to the new room, there were no towels or washcloths at all, which made it impossible to shower — luckily, I had one in my suitcase. But the worst part came after I got out of the shower and noticed roaches everywhere — big and small — crawling across the floor, walls, and even the furniture. I was completely freaked out. I called the front desk, and the man working was extremely rude and told me to just come downstairs to switch rooms. This was around midnight. As I walked to the lobby, I noticed trash all over the stairs and hallway. When I got to the front desk, he was checking in another guest — and right by his feet, I saw at least five roaches crawling on the floor. He moved me to a room on the first floor, but it was even worse. As soon as I walked in, I saw roaches on the bed, floor, walls, TV — everywhere. There was even blood on the shower curtain. When I called down again, he yelled at me, accused me of “dirtying all the rooms,” and told me to take it up with management in the morning. He then said if I didn’t want to deal with bugs, I should go down the street and pay an extra $150 to stay at the Hyatt or Best Western. I was left with nowhere to sleep, no refund, and a horrible experience. This hotel is not only unsanitary and infested, but the customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — it should be shut down or seriously investigated by health authorities.

If I could give a ZERO RATING I'd select that. So here's our experience within pulling into parking lot. The following all happens within first 30min of our arrival & escape from our room as there was no way we could safely stay in the hotel & pretty sure we'd wake up to not having our vehicle in the parking lot. If you read any good reviews about this place its false. Heed this warning don't stay here! We checked out immediately & got a refund. 1) Arrived to a swarm of police officers & undercovers on one side of hotel. The otherside of hotel an ambulance. 2) When I asked what time breakfast is the front desk man informs me they don't have a breakfast (which is 1 of my top reasons I chose hotel). They blamed Priceline for issue of sayingthey offer free breakfast. 3) Our 1st room had a huge leak going on from ceiling in 2 places, trash on counter, tv blaring, a/c on 60°. 4) They changed our room & apologized for the issues. 5) We go get our stuff out of 1st room to head to new room to discover a guy on the floor shaking & moaning with a woman standing next to him trying to keep him quiet & another lady in stairwell with them. 6) We're too afraid to call front desk or call for help for that man not knowing what we'd get pulled into or retaliation through the nights we were to stay there. 7) The man is banging on walls & yelling by the time we decided we must escape room to get to stairwell to check out. **We told front desk about the guy, but he didn't seem concerned. There were 2 hooded guys in lobby that laughed as we walked out talking about situation as though this is normal & okay. This is insane is all I can express! Never Ever there anyone should go!! **Concerned about posting this, but I truly don't want any other family going through what we just experienced.

My stay at this "hotel" was one of my worst stays anywhere. Every time I wanted to enter my room the key cardS would not work so I had to go to the front office each time to get them to reprogram my room keys. On the 3rd day of my stay the water was off for the entire day without warning so I was forced to leave my room to go elsewhere where there was running water and on the 5th night of my stay the power was out. It was a complete horrible experience. It may say Travelodge by Wyndham but the hotel is privately owned and owned by people that have no clue about customer service or hospitality. Even the the hotel cleaning staff set up a bar b que grill just feet away from my room, playing loud music and drinking beer, talking & laughing loud and got extremely offended when I asked for toilet paper!! I have no problem with the staff relaxing HOWEVER, what kind of establishment are they trying to run? A seedy motel or a upscale hotel? My room had roaches, spiders, and shady looking characters walking around at all hours of the night. There is a gas station nearby with a burned out vehicle state inspection building nearby that is full of crackheads. BEWARE!!! If i had the option to rent again I would rather pay $100 a night than the cheap price of these rooms. The photos are not of the actual hotel. The hotel is being remodeled and is under heavy construction. None of which they tell you before you book the room. Do not stay here just pay the extra money to stay somewhere else!

This place has really stepped up their game with what seems like new ownership. But what is really neat aside from my experience is the fact that this place use to be the la Quinta and it still has the bell towers with 3 bells. It is very rare to still find the original bell towers associate with LA Quinta. The first one was built in 1926 in California. The one here still has the original bricks transported from California and the bells still remain. It's cool that they did not take them down, making this a historical landmark for LA Quinta. Back to my experience. Tho they redid the rooms, took out carpet and replaced with hard tile floors, painted the walls white, put new toilets and upgraded the furniture for the most part, the dirt still comes thru after a day or so and your feet get super black on the bottoms. This leads me to believe that the house keeping does a minimal job at cleaning and I am not too sure I would pick this place to stay if I had a choice. The price is very fair tho at $50 a night if you have cash or $65 with a card. But, that too can become a problem with having the wrong guests staying there. Cops patrol the area a lot until it counts. We had gun shots ring out under us in the hotel and no cops showed up for it. 7 shots we heard very clear and close. We assume no one was hurt but it doesn't sit well with us and our safety. They added poop stations for the dogs so that's a plus. No ice tho. It is all the way up on the 3rd floor but someone broke it and no one has come to fix it the whole time we've been there. The hotel sits in a weird place with restaurants but only one fast food joint. Mcdonalds. There are two shell stations side by side and a bar next to it with a Hampton inn across the parking lot. There's a pool but it isn't in order as of yet. I don't know if it ever is. And I don't know ow if I'd go swimming in it. I give it a 2 and a half out of 5 so you make the call for yourself if you want to stay. It's a...
