I had a single-party climb yesterday (12/31/19) with Tamas at JTNP. I made two outstanding choices regarding yesterday...first, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and do some climbing while at a NP known for it, and secondly, hiring a guide through Stone Adventures!

I had a fantastic day of private guiding for rock climbing in Joshua Tree with Aron from Stone Adventures. As an intermediate, mostly gym climber, it was great to get out on the rock with someone who could help advance my skills while feeling completely safe -- but without treating me as a complete beginner either.
