Very easy to find, located in Joshua Tree at HWY62 and Park. FYI, take Park south to get to Joshua Tree national park. This place is in the backyard of Art Queen, Sheri Elf is the local artist. We parked on 62 south side and walked into the back area of a community of local artists. The front has a Dr. Suess like colored glass eggplant light shaped flower sculpture. Yes, you read that correctly, follow the common path to the back area. We were greeted by Sheri herself wearing a cute denim jacket with crocheted decorations. The Crochet museum is I assume curated by her. Such a lovely person with a gentle positive energy. We asked if we could see the museum. She mentioned it was open till 5pm and there were tidbits for sale in the Art Queen gift shop next to it. The light green previously purposed film booth has one door and room for two adults. It sits diagonally on the property with windows on the sides. Very clean inside all three walls and the ceiling were full of crochet examples. I had my best friend with and she was amazed with the eclectic group of examples. My friend knew of some of the art forms inside... Listed are a few; bottle poodles, a clown doll, toilet paper holders, curly cue bookmarks, fruits and small figures, a nativity scene. This is not the full list! A must to see. Quite interesting to those who crochet or enjoy Americana and folk art. The surrounding area had some welded sculptures and some trees or branches repurposed into art. The next door gift shop had some crochet for sale and some custom clothes too. This place was a joy to visit and a nice ending to a Joshua Tree area visit. Sincere thanks, Sheri hope to visit again we appreciated the...

This place... this gloriously weird and wonderfully whimsical oasis in the desert landscape, it'll stitch a smile on your face faster than you can say "yarnbombing!" Nestled in a former one-hour photo booth, it's like stepping into a rainbow's dream of your grandmother's living room. Color? Check. Crochet? Double check. Unadulterated joy? Oh, you better believe that's a check.
Frogs, hamburgers, aliens, you name it - if you can dream it, chances are they've crocheted it. It's the kind of place that makes you want to dig out those old crochet hooks and start making something... anything! Because why not add a little more color to the world?
It's a testament to the magic that happens when you mix imagination, a good sense of humor, and a whole lot of yarn. My heart felt as cozy as a crocheted tea cozy... yes, they have those too!
