SUN OF THE DESERT — Local services in Joshua Tree

Another hipster Same old same old. Why doesn’t anyone that opens a business in the high desert actually be different. If you stop on 29 palms Highway pick any one of them “new “ shops same old hats same old overpriced stuff no one that lives here wears just the tourist wardrobe for the weekend. It’s sad really that no one invests In this community. Everyone just wants those tourist $$$ how about the people that live here? Do you think they are buying or wearing this? Gentrification at its worst. I don’t give you a year out of business too. The only business I can think of recently that is not being the same old hipster hat store Is Luna Sourdough…..boring more of the same old Levi’s and...

Damien and Jimmy have an awesome store, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful during my visit. Treated me like a childhood friend and even gave me recommendations for what to do and see in the area!

Their store had very stylish tees and outerwear, among many cool items...I ended up buying a t-shirt that was very comfy and durable that I wore on my hike in Joshua Tree the next day.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for friendly service, kind people, and quality and stylish goods that are Instagram ready. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Jimmy and Damien are some of the sweetest genuine humans you will ever get the pleasure of meeting. The number of people that they must meet throughout their life projects is unfathomable, and yet they always seem to remember exactly who you are and welcome you with a warm heartfelt embrace. I had the pleasure of visiting their shop last fall. The amount of love and time that they have put into that shop beams from every corner.
