Well the motel part is pretty good especially with the price it's pretty good and the manager Deanna is so amazing and makes your stay above and beyond what is expected she's truly an asset to this once incredible motel. But the north end of the motel was well below expectations especially with the ammout of money they charge. I'm forced to stay here since the valley have no other options to offer and I have two little boys that the first night staying in the north room rentals cut their foot on the exposed nails in the entryway and there are exposed wires in the light fixtures as well as the stench of mold and God knows what else and the toilet that promptly fell out of the wall that is now being propped up with blocks of wood that the 'maintence'guy came and said thanks for putting the wood there and then left all for six days at 551$ we also had to go and retrieve our own beds to use from another room and the floors are disgusting I'm worried about my kids playing on it. Not to mention the first night here the little girl that is a maid employed here pushed her way uninvited into my room putting her finger in my face yelling at me while my boys slept I'd never been so disrespected ever just had gotten off work and then apparently the next day that same employee was telling up and down the halls kicking in doors threatening children until the police came to settle her down. But the management is fairly decent but again it's be hell if Deanna weren't here. The conditions in this once beautiful motel on the north end are absolutely well below acceptable especially at I've a thousand bucks a month they charge but when your community tell you there's no hope for any better this is what is last resort looks like. The other side of the motel is decent like I said but it's rediculous over her on the north end not to mention the floor at the top of the Satie's is caving in and it's only a matter of time until it completely falls thru. But I'm grateful it's at least warm and there was a bed available for us to go grab in the other room ourselves and bring up. It's a shame remembering what this motel used to be to what it's become but when your working full-time ten hour days and every penny you work hard for goes to pay for a sub par dangerous dirty room it makes it harder than just having to deal with not having our home to go to. Again thank God for Deanna I'd recommend the motel great for the price but if you're ever faced with no other option than staying in the north end may go be with you and lots of Lysol...
Read more20-25 years ago this was a nice place. Currently the bathroom was clean as were the sheets. The staff was courteous and breakfast room was decent and well staffed even if it looks like a closed wing of the hotel. When we were arriving, we had to drive around to find something that looked like an open hotel. Watch out for the massive potholes in the parking lot. The sign was a banner and landscape had not been worked in what looked like years. The extended wings have been converted to low cost apartments. We were given a third floor suite which was big but smelled like smoke and I don't know what. We got a roll away which looks like dated back to the late 70's. When the boy laid down on it on his back, his chest was even with the sides of the frame. When he opened the door not noticing that the chain was still on, the door trim came off because the chain was only screwed to it. He just normally opened the door. So no worries if your kid or significant other tries to lock you out of the room, simply open the door and the chain is not an issue! Child safety mechanism I guess. Don't pull the hair drier off the wall, the mount is screwed into the sheetrock with no anchors and comes off in your hand. It can also be just pushed back in the holes though for your convenience. There are no screens on the windows and no locking mechanism. Sunday Morning I walked by a door on the second floor and was glared at by some people in a "Children of the Corn" looking meeting that was going on there. Weird but, I took off before I was sacrificed though, they were slow and kept tripping over the scythes. Bottom line is that if you could get the DeLorean going and arrive in 1985 this would have been 3-4 stars. It was big and most likely very nice. If they don't do any maintenance or updates soon, it may return to dust before the next decade.............. I almost forgot, bring your gear, there is an indoor squash court if you really explore the place. This was not the worst experience but definitely one to remember! I do have to again remind you that the staff was definitely doing their best with what they have to offer. Kind of a modern version of the Shining hotel but no...

Upon arrival there was no sign on the building specifying if it was the hotel we were looking at or a run down apartment complex. The parking lot was full of potholes larger than my car and no clear parking spaces. Once we entered we were not greeted. Instead we were kinda just looked at with a puzzled look by the lady at the desk as if it was weird we were even there. We were not shown to our room or shown where anything was located in the building. Another guest had to remind the desk lady to give us a key to the fitness room and also about how the room keys are jankey and have a special way that they work. When we got to the room it seemed pretty clean. However, the toilet was broken and would not flush. We had a handyman come to fix the toilet. I say handyman because he followed us to our room creepily and without notice holding a moutain dew can and a cell phone. I had to ask him a few times if he was sure he was the maintenance guy because i was honestly so confused as to why someone without any type of hotel uniform was trying to walk into our room with us and why no one at the front desk told us that hes the maintenance dude. We booked a room with a microwave and fridge but received a room without them. The fitness rooms equipment was broken so i dont believe they can even list that at a feature. The breakfast lacked any protein. It was a make your own waffle and moldy biscuit feast. I was terrified of leaving my car outside in the parking lot over night because of how shady the people were outside the building. OH and how a trampede of elephants were running around all night above us. Im not one to complain when a place it cheap, but ive stayed in motels in the middle of nowhere for $50 a night that was WAY nicer than this place. I underatand there isnt much the people at the front deak can do about the awful place they work in, but atleast make your guests feel welcomed. The place has soooo much potential. Id pay extra money to stay here if it was even a TAD bit nicer. Stay at the motel...
