VFW Post 2252 Lounge and Casino — Attraction in Kalispell

Went there to meet fellow vets but instead found a bar/casino combo, not a VFW. It's a great bar. Nice billiard tables, clean, good service, great prices, and everyone looked to be having a good time. I've never been to a VFW with a casino, I'm not sure how to feel about that. I'll likely go back for drinks, but I really didn't feel like it was a veteran's place to go meet other vets in a military atmosphere. Been getting the same 5 star treatment no matter how often, how late since I went into the location on Main St about a decade ago. Been my favorite watering hole anywhere in the USA ever since! Great pricing, civilian friendly, clean and comfortable with bar games and other amenities most "upscale" bars in the area lack or neglect to upkeep. What a great place to visit if you are in need of something more than beer and wine! I had a double whiskey on the rocks, **very much needed on my vacation. Staff was full of informative information for an Oregonian visitor. Public allowed to come in and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. They have gambling machines, spirits, beer, wine, pool tables...and best of all happy employees. Who doesn't love to be treated...
