I've been going to union station all my life, the station has always given me joyful memories but today all that changed. I came here to celebrate the Chiefs victory and we all did but a terrible tragedy took place.
I will not be able to feel the same about union station ever again. I ran for my life in there I was scared people were crying. Hiding their kids. Police officers gathering around directing people. I want to make it clear that's not the fault of the station. So I thank the staff for keeping everyone safe inside the building.
I pray for the families but most of all I want change. I wish this didn't happen and I will continue to fight for these tragedies not to happen as I've done before. Now it's personal. I will not let it ruin my home for me, but it will be a defining memory for us as all. Stay safe and stay strong...
