The fact that this store only has 2.8 Stars baffles me and honestly makes me sad!! From the moment I walked in I noticed how clean and organized it was compared to a few others I have been to in Jersey. Yesterday I had came to this specific location find one thing and wound up going shopping for about TWO HOURS!! LOL. However upon going back and forth down the same aisle five or six times one of the workers (Jay) asked me very politely "What are we looking for sweetheart and how can I help?" I guess they could tell that I was on a mission LOL once I told them that I was looking for a certain perfume that only cvs sells Jay immediately directed me to where the it was and lucky me I got the last one of Scent I love!! I decided to take the opportunity to do some more shopping for hygiene items I needed and eventually After I had been there for a good while I finally made it up to the register and cashed out. However, upon cashing out I realized I forgot to use my coupons!!! Instead of getting annoyed or even becoming the least bit impatient with me they agreed to do a partial refund of just the items with coupons so I could use them. ( at this point another employee named Claire was helping me she too was absolutely phenomenal) The customer service at this location is above amazing and these employees should be recognized if they aren't being already. Even though I myself work in customer service I know as a customer sometimes I can be a handful however these two employees were patient , understanding and Beyond helpful for that reason alone I will travel the extra distance just to go to this CVS again!! Read moreI really don't like posting bad reviews and for the most part hold off on doing so and just don't ever conduct business with whatever establishment it is that I wasn't happy with but unfortunately in this case I have no other option. My insurance, I guess, has a contract with cvs and I am only able to visit them for prescriptions unless I want to pay out of network. I pick up the same prescriptions monthly and have the same issue every single month. The staff can never find it and I have to do a run around, calling them and my doctor in order to have the issue resolved. At first I thought that maybe my doctor forgot to send the prescription in or that there was some sort of delay on his end but after having the cvs staff find it after hours of calling back and forth I realized it was cvs who is at fault. This happens EVERY SINGLE MONTH. and every month I get the same. I don't believe that this is the fault of the staff (giving them the benefit of the doubt) and think its probably corporate that's run poorly, having a trickle down effect. Regardless, I'm pigeon hold to cvs and have to be frustrated every month because I can't get the prescription I need. The moment I have a change in insurance and have the freedom of going to any pharmacy I will most certainly NEVER use cvs again. The pharmacy staff is very rude. There was amit who has an attitude problem and Vanessa who after learning that cvs does not accept my insurance was basically trying to dismiss me. Like As if I wasn’t a customer. My wife had a prescription there too which I picked up. The attitude and lack of respect I got from this staff actually made me return the prescription and transfer it to another pharmacy. Now let me remind you this is after I have already sat there for fifteen or twenty minutes for them to fill the prescription. Like how did they not catch that problem first waste all my time and then give me an attitude?? How is that customer service. I asked her where else I can go and Vanessa with a snappy attitude responses I work for CVS i don’t work anywhere else. Completely unecessary because she could have just said I don’t know sorry. Like that was an insult to my intelligence reminding me that you work for CVS while I’m standing inside the cvs store with cvs logos everywhere. Like really ?
