The Kohl's+Sephora of Kernersville, NC is one of my favorite places to shop when I am looking for quality apparel, fashion accessories, and home goods at a really affordable price. Not only do I get great discounts by mail, but I love earning Kohl's Cash and Member Rewards Points that I can use online and/or inside the store. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with me when I shop later than I should. Even when they're tired and ready to go home at the end of their work day, they continue to go out of their way to provide excellent customer service, while maintaining their friendly, welcoming, and good-natured dispositions with genuine smiles on all of their faces. When you're spending hard earned money, and are on a small budget, the Kohl's employees in Kernersville, always look for coupons and discounts I may have missed, to aide me in stretching my dollars even further. As a single mom, their consideration for my money and circumstance is priceless! The only reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the clothing racks can become very disheveled, over loaded, and a bit chaotic at times, causing the clothing hangers to become tangled together, and/or fall off, and into the floor; this happens at all clothing stores from time to time, so I can't really say too much against them for it, but it's still very very annoying and is 75% of the reason for my taking a star. The other 25% goes to the dressing rooms always having clothes and empty hangers in them. However, sometimes this can be a good thing cause you'll find something that you like in your size that you didn't see when you were scanning the clothes racks. Overall, major kudos to the Kernersville location for always maintaining their excellent customer service and patience, especially toward late shoppers like me, and to Kohl's in general for awesome sales prices and one in the best rewards programs around, and now that alot of them have Sephora inside, what more could a girl ask for?! Read moreI was disrespect badly in the store by a store manager (Dorothy) in front of several customers that’s was waiting in line!! This is what happened me and a friend came in the store during a huge rain storm and we asked the cashier did they have any more of the umbrellas bags to put our wet umbrellas in that normally is at the front door when u come in, we’ll she stated no and we were fine with that , but then the store cashier was nice and tried to give us a one of the store bags when we clearly didn’t ask get for it! But she was being nice and friendly and offered it to us!! Then the store manager (Dorothy) busted from out of no where talking all loud and while the cashier was handing us one bag she told her no do not give us the bag with a rude tone in her voice that made me very upset !! I told her (Dorothy) we didn’t ask her for the store bag we asked for umbrellas bag and we were fine with no bag that the cashier was only being polite!! And instead of manager (Dorothy) apologizing for being rude and causing such a misunderstanding scene she rolled her eyes, brushed us off like were poor trash!! I will never shop at kohl’s again and I will tell all my friends and family to never go there!!! Read moreI’ve had a Kohl’s Credit Card for 3 years and I have never had such horrible customer service. There was a promotion to get either 15%, 20%, or 30% off if you used your credit card so I asked to us it today. I was told I had to download the app to get the barcode. I agreed to do that but said I should probably step out of line. I was told not to worry about it and to stay in line. It took about 15 minutes to download and get into the app. The cashier had no idea how to work the app and once the code was finally found, she scanned it and it didn’t work. She then told me it was because I had just downloaded the app——then what was the point??? After holding up the line so long, I just paid and went to customer service to try to get a better understanding as to why the barcode didn’t work. Yes, I checked the list of exclusions and the one item I purchased was NOT listed. This particular employee was beyond rude and kept cutting me off when trying to explain what happened and how I just wanted to know why the promotion wouldn’t work for me. After being cut off multiple times and spoken to in a manner that was unprofessional, I just left. I did complete the survey for Kohls, but that is of course only ONE question and not public.
