Do not buy jewelry from Cross Cultures! I bought my wife a ring for Christmas and the owner claimed that the stone in it was real. We had the stone examined by a jeweler who said that it was painted glass, and was barely worth $5. I paid $50 for it and that was after 20% off! The stone fell out of it yesterday and we brought it back to him wanting to exchange it for a decent ring. First he popped the stone back into it and tried to send us off from there. Then when we insisted that we deserved something worth our $50, he offered to exchange it for a ring priced at $30, trying to make even MORE profit off of junk jewelry and scam us AGAIN! Read moreI've always loved this store and its inventory, BUT unfortunately when my fiance and I went by there today (Kerrville) at 4:32pm, June 2, 2025, the store was closed, not open, with NO EXPLANATION on the door or in the window as to why they were closed... when their hours on Mondays are 10am to 6pm! Very, very disappointing. Grrrrrrrr.

My fiance and I spent a good 10-mins looking for a sign explaining why the store was closed, but unless we both are totally blind, we did NOT see any sign up on the door or the windows near the doors.
