This is clearly one of the most beautiful dog beaches I've ever seen it's a Hidden Gem and you can tell that the city of Key West welcomes animals. However it's a very very small Beach area. It is nestled between two buildings and if your dog is not very well behaved it does not have a lot of room to run I would guess it's maybe a hundred feet across. The street to get there as well traveled by bikes motorcycles cars and trucks so if your dog was to get away it would be difficult to catch. If you're one of those who keeps their dog on a leash at a dog park I think you'd really enjoy it you can also dip your toes in and it's a very beautiful spot.

The beach isn’t very large, but it’s ideal for a quick visit, especially if your main goal is to let your dog burn off some energy. It has a nice, laid-back vibe, and it wasn’t too crowded when we visited, which made it even better for my doggo to run and play. One thing to note is that there aren’t any facilities to rinse off after, so you might want to bring a towel or some water for cleanup if your dog (or you) gets sandy or wet. Overall, it’s a great little spot for a short, fun outing, especially for the 4 legged friends

This is a quiet little picturesque beach spot where the swimming is lovely and doggos & puppers can run and play in the sand and surf. It's a very small beach area, but its beautiful view is perfect for those who love to snap photos of the crisp, clear, turquoise waters! It's a great little spot to lay out a towel and sunbathe for a few hours, or just stop by for a few minutes and grab some pictures that are sure to make friends and family up north jealous!

After spending all day driving from Homestead we really wanted to let our dog out to run and get some fresh air.

This was our first time here, so it may have been different before hurricane Irma.

Everyone that was there was nice and their dogs friendly. Dogs were looked after and the beach was clean in that regard. By the water there was tons of seaweed and a good portion on the left side is rock that looks to be constantly wet and may be slippery. On the right side there is a fence to a resort/hotel but it doesn't go down all the way to the sand/water so I wasn't comfortable letting my dog off-leash because I knew he would go explore under there.

Keep in mind that the beach is probably 30 feet wide at most. I would recommend only going here if you really need to let your dog go to the beach or if it REALLY likes being in the water. There is not much else...
