Rooster Treats - Soft Serve Ice Cream & Mini Donuts — Restaurant in Key West

*Just wanted to update my review to 4 stars for the response from Jim. He clarified it was a mistake and offered a refund or a free treat when we come back. We are no longer in town but appreciate his response and dedication.

The only reason why I am giving this place 3 stars is because there menu board of specials is very misleading. The show pictures of ice cream and donuts with all these toppings and have different names for the creations which i thought was great and nice to have ready made combo choices. We decided to order the "shark bite" which stated it was strawberry & vanilla sauce, gummy bears, sprinkles, fruity pebbles So we assumed we were getting all of those toppings listed on our ice cream and donut order.... it didnt say gummy bears OR sprinkles OR fruity pebbles The cashier proceeds to ask what topping we wanted and said we had to pick 1 out of the 3 toppings, either sprinkles, gummy bears or fruity pebbles Honestly just super misleading and I wouldnt of minded paying like $7.50 for the whole entire combo Whats the point of having the flavor combo creations if not all toppings listed under the combo are included? Really weird Other than that the ice cream was good and the donuts...

A Sweet End to Our Key West Getaway!

My husband and I stumbled upon Rooster Treats on our last day in Key West, and what a delightful find it was! I truly wish we had discovered it sooner so we could have gone back for more. I opted for the Cookie Monster ice cream, which was absolutely delicious – creamy and packed with flavor. However, the real showstopper was my husband's order: the Cookie Monster mini donuts. Oh my goodness, those were hands-down amazing! Fresh, warm, and utterly addictive, they were a perfect bite of heaven. Beyond the incredible treats, the atmosphere at Rooster Treats was fantastic. We loved the lively vibe, with music drifting over from next door creating a really fun backdrop to our sweet indulgence. The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely grateful for our business, which always makes an experience even better. We also felt the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and generous portions – we definitely got our money's worth. If you're in Key West and looking for a fantastic dessert spot with delicious treats and a welcoming atmosphere, Rooster Treats is an absolute must-visit. Don't make our mistake – go early...

The Donuts are good but the lady who served me was rude! I thought powdered sugar was a standard topping so when I asked for an order of donuts with no topping only to realize that meant plain and then asked for powdered sugar, she immediately snapped at me, snatched the box back, and sprinkled sugar on them while reprimanding me about what “no topping meant” in a RUDE way. She handed the box back to me and said nothing. I immediately snapped at her and she acted as if she were taken back and surprised by what I said. I had a witness with me who experienced her horrible demeanor and behavior towards me over powdered sugar so I know I am not crazy! I was on vacation and this was my first time in Key West and I did not appreciate the treatment I received by this woman. She was rude and...
