I wanted to share my recent dining experiences at Four Marlins Oceanfront Dining in Key West. It was a tale of two extremes, and I can't wait to tell you all about it.
Let's start with the positive. On my girlfriend's birthday, we decided to celebrate at Four Marlins, and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing evening. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect - the staff, the service, the food, and the view of the sunset.
Ashley, the hostess, greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that we had a table with a breathtaking ocean view. It set the tone for a memorable night. Our server, Paul, went above and beyond to make our evening special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal.
Now, onto the food. I ordered the citrus grouper, and it was a taste sensation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a delight. My girlfriend opted for the lobster pasta, which she absolutely loved. The lobster was tender and flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection.
As the evening progressed, we were treated to an incredible sunset. The view from Four Marlins was simply breathtaking, adding an extra touch of magic to our experience. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying their famous key lime pie, which lived up to its reputation as the best in Key West.
We were so impressed by our dinner experience that we couldn't resist going back the next morning for brunch. And let me tell you, Four Marlins doesn't disappoint when it comes to brunch either. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, from savory to sweet.
During brunch, we were once again greeted with the same warm hospitality. The staff remembered us from the previous night, making us feel like valued guests. The food was equally exceptional. I tried their signature eggs benedict, which was divine, and my girlfriend enjoyed fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh berries and whipped cream.
The brunch cocktails, including mimosas and Bloody Marys, were the perfect complement to our meal. The service remained impeccable, and Four Marlins continued to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Overall, Four Marlins Oceanfront Dining was a tale of two experiences. Our dinner celebration was absolutely amazing, with impeccable staff, service, food, and a stunning sunset. And the following morning, their brunch impressed us just as much, with a delectable menu and the same level of hospitality.
I highly recommend visiting Four Marlins for both dinner and brunch. It's an experience you won't forget, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as...
Read moreOur Christmas dinner was ruined by our awfully rude server. We were very disappointed and saddened by the treatment we received by our server. He was rude and had an attitude from the start. He did not know the menu items or the "catch of the day" (which he said I don't know - maybe mahi) and he did not tell us the daily special until we asked if there was one. We had asked for some sparkling water to start when he asked what we wanted to drink and he seemed annoyed by that. Once we placed our order, he disappeared and we had to ask someone to have him come to the table to order a glass of wine. Fortunately the host, who seated us, was wonderful and checked with us to see if we needed anything and ask how we were enjoying our Christmas dinner. We explained our difficulty with the waiter and he apologized and offered to give us a complimentary dessert. The waiter came back to the table and set the dessert menu down without saying anything and walked away. As he walked away, I explained that the host had come by to check on us and had ordered our dessert for us. The waiter picked up the menu and walked away without saying anything again or acknowledging us. As we finished our dessert, the waiter walked to our table and set the bill down and once again he said nothing as he set the check down and he walked away. Before we arrived to our reservation, we decided to tip the server an extra $100 for working on Christmas. After our interactions with the waiter, we decided to give the host the $100 instead. Our Christmas dinner was not what we had expected. We left dismayed by how the waiter acted and how he treated us. This was our first time to this restaurant and unfortunately, probably our last. We have never been treated so rudely at any restaurant before and I hope it never happens again to us or anyone else. We were not guests...
Read moreFrom the second we walked in we knew we were going to have an amazing experience. We were automatically greeted by one of the most exceptional waiter named Daniel. He notified us that we have the last reservation of the day that we booked at 9 and that is when we realized we literally had the whole restaurant to our selves. The restaurant it self is beautiful inside and out and has water sand and walking deck behind it to enjoy after your meal. Before we even ordered Daniel went above and beyond to explain and inform us of all the food on the menu since it was our first time. He explained everything to the T about each meal and what he recommends that we would like. Before we got our food Daniel was so attentive and provided the best service he possibly could super positive attitude very friendly and just an overall amazing guy. Really and truly he is what made the whole experience so wonderful. I have yet to experience such an amazing waiter that loves doing his job as much as he does. Mind you the restaurant closes at 10 he didn't rush us at all he made sure the food we got was exactly what we wanted and cooked the way we want. Came around again multiple times to attend even when we didn't need anything. The food obviously came out incredible all due to Daniel's recommendation. If you want some of the most local, authentic, incredible food to eat with the best service you can possibly get and a really lovely restaurant then this is definetly the...
