Okay, here's a review for The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, aimed at highlighting its best features:

A Tropical Paradise for All Ages!

The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory is an absolute gem and a must-see for anyone visiting Key West. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a lush, vibrant paradise filled with hundreds of butterflies flitting freely among exotic plants and flowers.

Here's what makes it so special:

Stunning Butterfly Variety: The sheer number and variety of butterflies is breathtaking. You'll see everything from delicate, intricately patterned wings to large, boldly colored beauties. It's a photographer's dream! Immersive Environment: The climate-controlled conservatory is designed to mimic a tropical rainforest, creating a truly immersive experience. The air is warm and humid, and the sounds of nature surround you. Knowledgeable Staff: The staff are friendly, informative, and passionate about butterflies. They are happy to answer questions and point out interesting species. Flamingo Residents: Two beautiful flamingos, Rhett and Scarlett, add an extra touch of charm to the conservatory. Watching them wade and preen is a delight. Educational and Fun: It's not just a pretty place; it's also educational! You'll learn about the butterfly life cycle, different species, and the importance of conservation. Perfect for All Ages: Whether you're traveling with kids, as a couple, or solo, the Butterfly Conservatory is an enchanting experience for everyone.

I recently visited the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory in Key West, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was surrounded by the enchanting sight of hundreds of butterflies fluttering around in a beautifully maintained tropical garden. The vibrant colors of the butterflies contrasted perfectly with the lush greenery and exotic flowers.

The experience was incredibly serene, and it felt like stepping into a different world. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering interesting facts about the various species of butterflies and the plants that support their life cycle. I also appreciated the educational exhibits that explained the importance of conservation.

One of the highlights was the opportunity to see the butterflies up close as they landed on flowers, and sometimes even on visitors! The peaceful ambiance was enhanced by the soft background music and the soothing sound of waterfalls.

Overall, the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory is a must-visit in Key West. It's a magical experience that leaves you with a deep appreciation for nature's delicate beauty. Perfect for all ages, it's a place where you can truly relax and marvel at the wonders of the natural world. I can't...

Worth doing when in Key west, but for the cost you should go through at least a couple of times since it’s not that big. With your receipt you can enter all day of your ticket. The weather wasn’t great on the day we went so it may have been busier than usual as others wanted an indoor activity. This meant that the walk through was pretty full, but moved along well enough- there’s lots of butterfly and bird activity so you don’t really want to rush through it anyways, but by the end I was overheating in pants and a short sleeve shirt in the 80 degree/high humidity tropical room. Our more gradual walk through took about 25min and then did it in about 10min the second time. There’s a small tight parking lot in the back and single bathrooms (the women’s one has a changing table). If you bring a stroller you can fold it up in their closet storage while you walk...

Hands down! THE BEST BUTTERFLY HOUSE we have ever visited throughout the United States! This a must-see attraction while visiting Key West. We went when I needed to get out of the sun during the heat of the day (I sunburn too easily even with sunscreen). I have never seen so many butterflies and the two flamingos were just an additional amount of wonderful on top of wonderful. The gardens were just as spectacular and helpful in making my notes on what to landscape with should I ever make it back to live in Florida again. We spent hours in there! I loved how many men enjoyed this attraction as well; something you normally don't see with men or husbands, LOL! ----Author C.A. McJack
