Lucy Hawk Art — Attraction in Key West

When I first met Lucy she was working at a B&B and doing her art as a side gig. I bought some of her note cards (prints of her work) and as soon as I got home I started following her. That was 7 or 8 years ago. (I still keep a supply of her note cards on hand at all times) Now, you can't walk into a room in my house without seeing some sort of artwork done by Lucy Hawk. From scenes of Key West, commissioned papercuts of my dogs, mandalas in my kitchen, calendars and at Christmas, a whole section of my tree is ornaments done by Lucy. In the 8 years I have known her I have watched her grow both personally and professionally. She moved her business out of her home and is running a beautiful art studio featuring some amazing female artists. It's not everyday that you get to watch someone's dream come true while doing something they love. I had ordered a special piece from Lucy for an image of our friends house. She was kind enough to go take current pictures of the house instead of the ones I had emailed to her so the art was a current capture of the way the house looked and she was very fast to get it done for us for Christmas even though I didn't giver her enough time before the holidays. What can I say about Lucy Hawk’s art. I have followed her from the beginning. Watching her creativity blossom has been inspiring, breathtaking and joyous.
