High pressure sales tactics really ruined this for me. I wanted to look at the art, but the pushy sales woman asked me what piece of art I liked best between 4 pieces on the wall and when I responded, she took me and the piece of art into a little room to look at it under better lighting. She asked me if I'd like a water or a soda or a glass of wine. I asked for a water, but she insisted on getting me wine. I didn't want to be rude, so I accepted the wine. Then she decided to show me a couple of pieces that were nothing like the first and introduced me to the artist, which was really nice and I enjoyed talking to him. I believe the associates name was Barbara. She is a taller, middle aged woman, average/husky build, with red/brown hair. We ended up spending our money elsewhere, which was a lot considering we originally planned to spend money at Wyland and their pieces are not cheap. Such a shame because the art gallery is beautiful. However I must say that Key West in general is not what I remember it to be at all. It feels as if the city isn’t welcoming of “certain people” anymore. If you know...
