I have been a loyal customer of AARONS in Killeen since 2018 when I returned to Texas. My son was literally age 5 my son is 12 now I literally am using the same banking information for my payments from 2018 to now. I recently bought a house in my hometown of South Carolina. I never ignored a call from AARONS I made sure to communicate every step of the way. Yesterday I was scolded and talked to so rude by the accountant or manager that takes payments. I attempted to explain to her my situation as to why I am late on my payment the woman talked over me she stated “WE ARE BOTH ADULTS I AM NOT GOING BACK AN FOURTH” I said “MA’AM WHY ARE YOU BEING RUDE TO ME I AM NOT GOING BACK AN FOURTH I AM TRYING TO EXPLAIN MY SITUATION” I said then “I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL AND DEDICATED CLIENT OF AARONS FOR YEARS NOT JUST AARONS BUT AARONS IN KILLEEN.” I Statsaid that I bought a house in SC before I could explain anything else she wanted to tell me I couldn’t take my furniture I said “MA’AM IM NOT TAKING ANYTHING IM RENTING MY HOUSE IN KILLEEN” She then said “IF YOU GET PAID EVERY MONTH THIS BILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID.” But let me explain something I have been shopping since 2018 paid every bill the previous manager knows me by name when I am late I communicate and pay what ever fees I owe. SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE IF SHE DID SHE WOULDN’T RUN OFF GUARANTEED MONEY… IF A CLIENT HAS BEEN SHOPPING FOR CLOSE TO 10 years I WOULD HAVE WORKED WITH THEM NOT BELITTLED THEM. I PAID MY BILL THE. TOLD THE LADY I WILL PAY MORE THAN I HAVE TO JUST TO END MY BUSINESS WITH THEM. I HAD PLANNED ON BUYING MORE FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES ONCE MY SECOND HOUSE IS FINISHED BEING BUILDT BUT ITS LITERALLY NOT WORTH IT IM GOING TO FARMERS. When I called back to up my payments and pay the $145 bill. She attempted to stop me from paying the balance off early. She over heard me telling my husband that I have never been spoken to this way and apologized but it was literally too late I’m taking my business to another company I’ll pay $250 a month on a $145 bill just to get away from these people mind you I BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR YEARS JUST PAID OFF A FRIDGE THAT WAS $190 a month and she can check my records I normally pay more that the asking price a month since 2018 either way. I LET THE LADY KNOW I WANTED TO CONTINUE BEING A CLIENT OF ARRONS BUT THE DISRESPECT WAS TOO MUCH I CALLED BACK AN HOUR LATER ENDING MY BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH AARONS THE LADY IN RHE BACK SHOULD BE FIRED SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHES RUINING AARONS IMAGE SHE SHOULDN'T BE THE REPRESENTATION OF AARONS AS A COMPANY BECAUSE I PROMISE SHE WILL RUN EVERY CLIENT OFF ANYWAY . I picked out a NEW couch and discovered it was defective when it was delivered. THREE TIMES they sent a repair man from Austin; in which I had to make an appointment and wait on for weeks; that called and documented THREE times that it was a manufactured defect that COULD NOT be fixed and they need to order a new couch or let me choose something else. THREE times they refused to let me pick something else and ordered FOUR couches of which THREE were defective in the same way. The 4th one I have now. They wanted payment for the DEFECTIVE couches... I refused until I received the 4th one which was defective as well but not as noticeable as the first 3. They tell you that your payments are on a particular date and then bug the bageebees out of you BEFORE a payment is due, starting with calling in the early mornings before they even open for business. They LIE about your account and late fees they charge at will. They are unorganized and three different people will tell you three different stories about your account, which I am going up there again in the morning to get some clarification on the different lies I'm being told. Aaron's just SUCKS ALL AROUND!!! You will be better off at Conn's, Buddies, HomeSmart, etc. anywhere other than Aaron's. I should have listened to the many people that warned me about this business. I only decided to try them because the furniture stores did not have the couches I was looking for. Ursula on the other hand definitely does not exemplify the character traits of a customer service representative let alone account supervisor. This morning after I told her I refuse too Continue the conversation which seemed to become heated and we should speak later today where we could maintain a more adult conversation. Ursula hung up the phone in my face before the completion of a better time to discuss any type of actions on my account to be taken. I understand these type of rent to own establishment assist customers building up credit etc and tend to be convenient at times however if customers does not uterlize these establishments jobs would not be available for this establishment to remain open.
