SEPHORA — Attraction in Kirkland

I recently came to this location looking for a product. I had looked online the night prior and saw that this product was still in stock and should not be a problem. I came in the next day, was greeted by and employee and made my way to the section. When I saw my shade was not in stock a young woman from the counter came over and asked if she could help and told me she would check at the front in the go-back section and in the back. After chatting with me and telling me she was going to do this, she proceeded to check out 5+ customers in a newly formed line that came in after our discussion, without notifying me or asking for the help of another employee....I had to wait in-line to find out if she had found another product that she promised to look for in order to get her attention. It wasn't until after she continued to check out other customers that she even called another employee to help with my situation. I wasted roughly 25 mins+ in a store because this woman dealt with the situation so poorly. I have worked customer service before so I understand that things get busy, but would have appreciated more communication and courtesy when dealing with someone else's time...Especially since I, as a customer had come first in the scenario before any of the line or any of her other scenarios.. If I could give this place lower than one star, I would. Me and my friends came in and everybody gave us attitudes. They were all disrespectful and no one said welcome in or how may I help you! But they went to everyone else that was in the store and was gladly helping them out. My sister went to go check out her product and there was two cashiers at the stand doing absolutely nothing. They didn’t bother approaching her. She had to come to them first and say she would like to buy this. And then my other friend went to go get her eyebrows waxed and the lady that was doing her told me and my sister to go away because she needed space. All we wanted to do was watch her get her eyebrows waxed and she told us to leave and come back later because she was getting ready. And once we would come back, she would turn around and give us a dirty look, and then roll her eyes. Like ma’am, what is your issue? Worst...

Me writing a 5 star review for a cosmetic store previously would have been unheard of as I hate to shop and especially when there are loads of choices. I had a sudden appearance of age spots due to medication causing sun sensitivity. I had to do something. Reluctantly, I went into Sephora. I had not bought makeup in years. Luckily I found the right sales person. She actually put a handheld device near my face to figure out the color. She found me tinted SPF 50 sunscreen. It covered all of my age spots. Two of my friends who know make up, commented, on their own, that my skin looked great and my makeup was a perfect match. I have since told some other friends about this experience. Now I just hope that makeup brand does not discontinue this product now that I have found it.
