U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer — Local services in Kissimmee

I was late to pick up my pre-ordered rental van. The man said that he had no record of my reservation, but that if it was from that morning, it would have been cancelled after an hour. He did say that he could set up a new rental, but started giving me a hard time about how he couldn't hold the van "forever" because "other people wanted it." My sister was with me and tried to ask him a question, and he started being snotty with us for the fact that we were both in the conversation. I told him that it didn't matter to me if I had to start a new rental; I still needed the van and just wanted to know if he still had the van (you know, the one that supposedly he couldn't hold forever because of all the other people who wanted to rent it). Unfortunately, he was more interested in arguing with my sister than in just answering my straightforward question and renting me the van. My sister then pointed out to him that her kids were there with us, and asked if he could please not demonstrate such a bad attitude in front of them, at which point he started acting even more obnoxiously toward us and treating us like we were the unreasonable ones. There are 3 other U-Haul locations just within a mile of here, and another dozen throughout Kissimmee. We didn't waste any more of our time with this toxic garbage heap of a business, and...

I just want to say Marlboro was great, He also runs security at the flea market and is very helpful! Awesome experience! I do want to say I read some of the reviews before I went there they were complaining about no signs at the front but that's not his fault, it's code enforcement for the area, they won't allow him to put a sign out there... But it's really simple to find, when you pull into the gate entering the flea market turn right and just drive all the way to the very back and you'll see the trucks and you'll see the key box. I rented a 15-ft truck and a auto transport cuz our car broke down while we were down there, we had a problem with the drive shaft I could only go about 30 mph and that was it, so I was able to load it on the trailer but Marlboro helped me he hooked up the trailer and helped me get the car on it and tie it down... My only beef would be with U-Haul because they don't allow you to rent a pickup truck or a van unless it's local. I really didn't need to drive a 15-ft box truck all the way back to Georgia to tow my car home but that's all U-Haul...

My friend went there to rent a U-Haul and was told to park in the parking lot next door. And as they were waiting for this guy to bring her the U-Haul he left the gate open and his big dog ran out the gate and he yelled at it to get back and the dog didn’t listen and ran after my friends small dog (who was on a leach and cowering down) and her small dog was attacked and killed by the dog that stays on property and she was bit by the dog. Now the guy that rented her the U-Haul says ain’t his dog. U-Haul said it’s not their dog. Still haven’t heard from the flea market. This dog was her baby her emotional support dog like a child.
